this number call me once a week claiming the are it the Department of Oregon, and would like to know if we are "still" planning to move. We are not moving do not plan to move..... and each time I tell them to remove us from their list, advising that they call every week, they all me rude, and call me names..... hang up on me, and today when  asked to speak to the manager, I once again asked to be removed from their call list.
He said he would note it and asked if that was all and I said yes as long as the calls stop, and he started calling me names.

Got the same call today from this number but was told it was from the state of california business development Authority. The callers name was Sam and sounded Indian, also lots of background noise.
Asked me about moving, how many employees.. etc.
I put them on hold and they eventually hung up

Yes, I got call from them saying they are the state of California.
I asked if it's true.. said yes. asked call back number
which was 510 737-1000 which is not in use..!!

This number calls my work several times a week and every time we tell them, No we are not moving and to please remove us from their call list, they just hang up! My co-worker asked to speak to the manager and the person that called said they were the manager and hung up. When i call the number back it says it's not in service. Next time i may just play along to see what info i can find out about their company. so annoying! sometimes they introduce themselves as from the State of Oregon and other times they ramble off some other company name but they always have a middle eastern accent. The number on our caller id shows: 888-710-2013

This number calls every.single.day asking if we are moving. He says he is calling from Business Development with the BC Government and when I ask what city, he mispronounces the city we are in. We ask (because we have all spoken to "neo" )where he got this info and he says from us. He keeps asking when we are moving, if we are still moving etc. We asked for a managers number and got 604-340-5000 which is a cell phone and not government. The next call, Im asking for his address so I can come down and speak to him.

I received 2 calls from this number today. I ignored the first call and they did not leave a voice mail. The 2nd time, I answered it. She said she was calling from the "Texas Business Center" and wanted to know if we were planning on filing our property taxes for 2013.   I asked her to identify herself, and she repeated "Texas Business Center" but did not claim to be from the Secretary of State or Texas State Comptroller's offices.   I told her that information had already been filed and to use the US Mail to contact me in the future.  She asked what my mailing address was (Ding?) and I said that was her problem now.  I hung up on her after telling her not to call me again.

I just tried calling that 888-710-2013 number back and heard a recording "This number is not in service" automated message.   No "message number 2332" whatever that the telephone companies normally add on to indicate which error message they said.

I love this call! They always try to say they are from the State of (fill in the blank). So I always ask them "Who is the governor of the State of xxxx?" They hang up every time. Fun with (scamming) telemarketers.

This lady calls our company several times a week and changes her name every time. Today it was Tracy! Every time we ask her to take our name off the list she hangs up but today when I asked she said "CAPITAL N-O" - how professional. So annoying!!

Our company got at least two calls within ten minutes, trying to verify addresses, then inquiring about whether we were aware of our moving to another location... pretty ridiculous. Lots of racket in the background.

this phone number says they are from "state of california". I ask if they are government or business, they said yes, we are government. When I ask which department in ca gov, the lady hang up the phone....


be careful of this fraud

They called me twice this week claiming to be the Oregon Business Development offices, asking if I've found a place to move to yet. Both times I asked them why they thought I was moving. They kept repeating the same questions and sometimes talking gibberish. They never offered anything. I got the distinct impression they were trying to keep me on the line. So what is it they're trying to get from us? They never asked for any personal information. Can staying on the line with them give them an opportunity to transfer the call to an offshore long distance charge or something? What's in it for them?

"Hannah" called and said she was from the State of Illinois Business Office asking if we were still planning on moving into our new spot. I told we had been in our current location for two years and she then asked if we planned on moving. My response was that it was a condo & we own it so not that I am aware - She hung up before I could ask further questions....

I have gotten this call twice same thing except they are from the State of Michigan wanting to know if we are moving.  I told them to call our main office.  I might play along next time and see what they are selling...

We have received several, and I do mean several-probably close to 100 calls for the past 10-12 months asking if we are still planning to move.  At first I would actually entertain the questions because our company had moved recently, but after numerous calls and asking them to remove us from their list to no avail, I am reaching my breaking point.  They are rude, unprofessional, and time consuming.  I would love to be able to block them.

Caller I.D. says UNAVAILABLE. That is a clue this is not a good call. JERKS hung up on my business ans machine.

Rude women with foreign accents who swear at you and will not take you off the calling list when you have asked 1 million times before.

Congress, we need a DO NOT CALL REGISTRY for businesses.  We need to block these calls so our under-staffed offices due to cut back and layoffs can answer real calls not this spam stuff.

This number claims to be the Illinois department of business development. I looked this up on 800notes and saw all these complaints. This number is not in service.  I told them to stop calling, that they are not who they claim to be, please remove us from their calling list. They have called here 22 times today! I keep putting them on hold, and will continue to do so. I hate these people who disrupt your business all day long. What scum!
