East Indian accent - Said he was calling from Microsoft to refund money I spent on a Microsoft program two years ago.

I just got this call too.  It sounded like a recorded message and was a bit hard to understand.  I missed the first part of the message stating who they were, but they said something went out of business and that I could get a refund of $499.  I did buy a computer 2 years ago that has the Microsoft program on it.  Seems suspicious tho.

It is suspicious. In fact, it's a scam. They'll tell you they need to connect to your computer or access your bank account to "deposit" your refund. Do not allow them access. In fact, don't even talk to them.

A recording telling me my ,computer license has expired- I hung up at that point

they told me exact same thing YEAH RIGHT i don’t own a computer bud.

Could not understand message only that company went out of business and I was entitled to a refund of $499.

Computer voice or robo call claiming that I am eligible for a $499 refund for services from a company that’s gone out of business. Call came from 1-888-710-1041 but directed me to call 1-888-710-4858.

Called about Microsoft license expiring and getting a $200 refund. SPAM!!!!!

I agree 100% with Tygerkat. It is a scam and the want access to your computer or bank account. Don't give them either. Don't call them back.

Same as above. Didn't answer the phone cause I didn't recognize the number. The voicemail was a recorded message about claiming money and to call the 888-710-4858 number. Deleted the VM and blocked the number. Lol.

They are a scam and they keep stating that they have link up your computer to do refund but won’t send refund they already have address on you.  Who calls for refund 3:00 am.  Plus who want work on your computer but don’t want you to update your windows security.

Same story. They called me on 12/18/2018 for a $499 refund on something they said I bought --long ago--. They wanted my information.    DON'T fall for it.

Call came from 3150804467 and I was to call the number above for my ‘refund’. Both should be blocked. SCAM.

Robo voice message wanting call back about $499 refund.  Guess I was lucky, the return call number was always busy.  Thanks everyone for the heads up
