SCAM Artist! 01/30/13

"Casey" ("KC"?) from "A.N.D." (A&D?) Heating & Cooling called to schedule my annual checkup.
He acted like he knew me and I was an old-time customer. I told him I had never used "A&D" and he said his company had bought out other local HVAC co during the previous year. After having him call me back, I asked him to tell me either the date of the last check-up or the brand of my furnace: "I'm just in the scheduling department", I wouldn't have that information.

He kept reading my name, address, telephone number, like it was from their records; acting real casual. He was just trying to bluff his way to a $40 sale (for a service notorious for hundreds of dollars of add-on work).

They wanted to confirm birthdate of a patient for an "annual checkup".  They couldnt provide a website only this number to call back.  SCAMMMM

Called said their name, I believe she said Marine, calling from Fidelis to provide some kind of extra no cost service. She called from Woodside 347-761-3208 but left 888-710-5173 as the number to call back
