Sears selling a water filter

Perfectly legit, but a bit annoying. This is just Sears with a message about a refrigerator water filter. I've signed up for notification re a new filter every year but some unknown scum fraudulently used my credit card so the card-number that Sears has on file is now inactivated. Their robo caller is advising me of this.

Same as earlier reported.  Auto refrigerator water filter auto renewal.  I never signed up for auto renewal to begin with.  I think this is someone phishing to get CC information.  May be legitimate but I don't like it!

I'm signed up for the Sears telephone prompts but I don't trust these kind of calls anymore so I'm going by the Sears store to update my credit card on file.

Claiming to call from Sears stating they cannot ship the filter I ordered because they do not have valid credit card information. Definitely scammer as Sears has all info they need. Beware, I think Sears credit card dept got hacked.

I signed up for auto shipments of water filters for my fridge last year and have been receiving them without issue. However, I lost my credit card and had to replace it. Forgot it was tied to the auto shipment. Sears was calling to tell me they new a new number because the other no longer works for the auto order. Totally legit call.

Got a call from 888-710-8432 this morning.  Claiming they were Sears and that my Sears credit card had been suspended.  This is not true.  We had also ordered a new refrigerator replacement water filter.  We received it over two weeks ago.  Please do not call the number they give you.  This is a scam and these guys are working overtime.

"Fake" Sears parts department calling for filter refills order. Stating CC no.they have on record is incorrect. DO NOT RESPOND . According to my bank, Sears got hacked and these calls are from scammers trying to get you credit card info.

Like previous reviewers, received a call about water filter.  We never signed up for auto renewal.  Sears has been hacked.  Would need to be cautious to shop with them.

I pay my sears bill on line and monitor activity. I just purchased air filter for fridge with my Sears card three days ago.  My credit is great, there are no issues with my account, and this sounds like a phishing scam. Please check with Sears and your bank before calling this number. You will probably find that everything is OK.  These dishonest people count on you being worried about your credit like most good people are.

It's a legit number for searspartsdirect.com. You need to update your credit card or something.

Sear B.S. phone calls.  How did they get my cell number????
