They wanted us to sell them some land that was not listed for sale.  They wanted a credit card # for closing costs up front.

It's me again.  We asked them to send us a contract in writing and here we are a week later with nothing.

They call themselves Retirement Home and my caller called from 208-433-5253 which is a Boise Idaho Number. The caller asked me to call 888-710-9797. I own 10 acres of desert in Belin NM. They claim they have buyers for these properties originally sold called Rio Grande estates and want $297 up front for costs to put the buyer and seller together. The property I own is not  surveyed, no roads or utilities of any kind. Each must draw their own conclusions, I drew mine and said goodbye.

Scam. Scam. Scam. The same number is given over and over and they don't even know who they calling by just asking if you have property in New Mexico. Even if you call the 888 number the same person picks up the phone.
