no more call from this company

My wife has gotten calls recently from a company called Abbot Newman and Associates.  They claim she owes a debt from about 7 years ago.  I did give them a debit card number (pre-paid) with little amount on it.  She told me the payment would be processed as Diversified Processing Solutions.  They made the same tyoe of claims against my wife.,  Youll be arressete and such.

Thanks for the address; needed it to file my claim; looks like they use several different phone numbers, too.

How do companies like this stay in business? Why doesn't anyone stop them? If law inforcement organizations can tap phones and catch other people, why can't they stop these crooks from stealing poeple's money? It looks like they've been around for awhile. They pretend to be someone they are not to get your money, and that is fraud. They threaten with law suits and prison to get what they want. Why doesn't someone look into this and put them out of business and in prison where they belong?

Got a call from 887-605-1856 Samething they say there from ACR Processing cusing at me called my parents
house AND girlfriend house says Iam going to jail for bad checks they gave a case number I called back number says not in service tryed 10 times or more cant get anyone Iam going to report these people !!!

They have changed their number and claim to only issue summons. But allow you to pay thru Deversified Processing. Big scam. They call you under Riley James Associates. They call you with an automated message and tell you to call 888-479-9480.

Says the Web page is unavailable

They called me Saying the were coming to my work or home and put me in jail.  Tryed called to call them back and all I got was a recoding. Somebody needs stop them..The mans name was I think he said was Abe Cooper.

Very rude. Threatening to detain me

Called me saying they were the IRS and that I owed them money. Scammers.
