I received a letter with this phone number stating that they would get me money back from my mortgage... Of course I have to pay them to audit the mortgage first! Yah! Right!!

Received a letter from Mortgage Auditing Program (Division of AMT).  I called the number 888-716-9582. Was placed on hold.  Never did talk to anyone.  Sounds like marketing gimmick.

The company is AMT Auditing Services LLC http://www.bbb.org/utah/business-reviews/loan ... ork-ut-22302183 but doing business as Enlightened LLC and Mortgage Auditing Program (scroll all the way down the BBB page to see its Alternate Business Names).

AMT Auditing Services LLC's Utah business license https://secure.utah.gov/bes/action/details?entity=7968758-0151 which is a DBA and not a LLC because it says "Company Type: DBA" on its Utah business license. Colton Moody wants the whole world to think that it's a LLC and when in fact it's a DBA.

Colton Moody is also a principal in TSGOULLC=The Summit Group Of Utah LLC http://www.bbb.org/utah/business-reviews/trai ... ehi-ut-13002802 TSGOULLC settled a legal complaint by the Utah Dept of Consumer Protection in 2009. Cristy Moody's company J.C. All in the BBB report for TSGOULLC and well worth a read.

Google around for info on TSGOULLC and its DBA names. There are lots of complaints on selling coaching seminars for $thousands-up-front on how to start up your own business (various kinds) and allegedly failing to deliver on the coaching. Had to have made a pretty penny while it lasted.

Do you *really* want to do a $money deal with Colton Moody's AMT Auditing Services LLC (and it's a DBA, not a LLC) given Colton Moody's past performance?

Thank goodness I researched the number before I called ... I almost dialed it and then remembered that usually 888 numbers are scams.

We also received a letter and called the number listed.  Had a feeling it was a scam and sounded too good to be true to get such a large amount of money back.  First were quoted a fee of $199 and when we told the guy that we would wait and talk about it, he lowered it to $149.  He told us to search the inernet and find their website - pretty useless.
We will not be calling him back except to fill him with the negative information found here when searching their name.

It is a good thing I thought to do research before calling the 888 number.  I knew it was too good to be true, as you never pay money to earn money.  The comments confirmed not to contact the Mortgage Auditing Program of Utah-just tear up the letter and trash it.

Its funny how I see a lot of people who have said bad things about this company, However I see that none of you have actually used there service.. What a joke they actually helped me get back $2200 from my bank Wells Fargo.. So maybe instead of knocking someone you haven't tried or used give them a call and find out for yourself..

Yep, it's a scam. I got the letter too and before she could ramble on about how much money they can find for me I asked her if I have to pay anything upfront. For the low price of $249 they will look to see if I have any money due to me. If they never find anything then I get the whole thing back. What if this "research" goes on for 5 years??? If this is a sure thing why not do the research first then deduct my fee from my refund? Total scam. How can these people in Utah go to work and be proud of what they do???

I canceled my service with them cause i was scared that it was a scam. So you really did go with their service?? I agree with you about everybody bashing them but hasnt tried them. just seeing if they are worth giving a try. Any info can help! Thanks!

Is this like don't knock cyanide unless you've tried it? Calling the scammers only gives them a chance to talk victims into buying crap and precisely why potential victims shouldn't call in the first place.

now a days its not about being proud of what you do or even proud of the people that you work for. I'm just happy i'm pulling on a pay check. they got me back 9,200$ with in a 4 week period. I've looked the place as well and so far the only people that have said its a scam haven't ever signed up for the audit. If there is some one that has excepted the program and got scammed, i'd love to hear from them. It worked out great for me. No scam, Just a lot of money that other wise i wouldn't have gotten it back if it wasn't for AMT Audits,

Did you pay up front for their service? I have noticed they have no complaints on the BBB.  If they are such a bad company why hasn't anyone complained on the BBB site instead of putting things in a blog somewhere on the internet?

I do know a few people that have with no repercussions but, The place is a sketchy place that doesn't even have the correct business license to do what they do. I got money back from them but realized how ridiculous this place is. It's a good idea for a business and you'd probably do pretty well for your self but this company goes about everything wrong and like i said before doesn't have the correct business license to do what they are doing. There for is not an honest business and i would never suggest some one to do business with amt auditing. By the way, they told me to look them on the better business bureau and said they have an A rating. above the rating it says ''THIS BUSINESS IS NOT BBB ACCREDITED''

I think that MIke D who says he got $2200 back from the AMT Auditing company -well he works for them. He put a fake blog in here to trick innocent homeowners out of their hard earned money. Shame on you MIKE D for lying- you will go to h*** for this!
