- Caller: don't know
- Denise replies to RobThanks, Rob. Yep - it was Schwans. It was an automated message telling me my delivery driver would be a day late this week. I wish they could fix their system so that it leaves messages instead of hanging up when nobody answers, cuz I ignored it the first time :( But I was glad to know because I actually ordered a couple days ago online and was looking for my ice cream! :)
- missy| 1 replyTHankyou for telling us it was from Schwans. I wish there name came up on my phone!!
Plus I do not appreciate veing woken up first thing in the morning with unwanted calls. - jrkeller replies to missyI answered! And yes, it is Schwan's letting me know of the schedule change next week due to Christmas.
- shiloh MaeIf their Name had come up in the Caller ID I would have answered my phone. I missed them the last round and would have made an order or marked my calender. If no name comes up on my Caller ID...I dont answer.
- trudykeep receiving phone calls from the above number....has become annoying to the point of harrassment...want to have this stopped...
- Caller: Schwans
- BubbaOMG! DO NOT CALL REGISTRY DOES NOT WORK!
- Not Happy| 2 repliesI do use Schwans, but I do not appreciate picking up the phone, saying, "Hello?" and having the phone disconnect. NOT COOL! Schwans, if you read this, stop the robo calling, it's a major turnoff!
Oh, and Bubba, DUH! Of course it doesn't work. I've been on it since it was first installed. It worked for the first few years, but ever since scammers started using the list to find out who to call, it stopped working. And until the government actually ENFORCES their own rules in regard to the violations and reported callers, it will never work again!- Caller: Unknown, Could be Schwans
- Tamianth replies to Not HappyThe DNC does work, nor do they sell the lists to illegal telemarketers.. You have assumed that it covers all calls when in fact it does not. Nor does it protect you from the illegal callers either. And yes they do enforce it..
In this instance, you need to contact Scwans directly or your driver and tell them to stop. Then if they do not then you actually have a complaint. The laws changed in regards to having mutual business relationships in Oct of last year..
