Called twice to my cell and I ignored both calls.  No message left.

This number is for Schwans.  My rep was calling to remind me of the next delivery date.

Received a call on my CELL phone - I have a very limited plan and I REALLY don't appreciate unwanted calls!

I didn't answer but later I dialed the number and it said something about Schwans

I answer and they hang up or get disconnected

I hate calls like this, they call and don't say anything. If in fact the call was from Schwans they are very unprofessional.
WHen they don't say anything I call them #&!@#*&^.

its schwans i got a phone call from them on my home phone and then 15 mintues later my wife got one on her cell she anwsered it and it was a schwans guy just saying that schwans wont be deleriving around my area today like they useally do they will be doing that tomorrow

Thank you for telling us who this is cause my caller ID had no idea and they left no message.

They never say anything! They've called 3 times and it's always silent
then dissconected. If its schwas then they need a new way of contacting people
or stop! I agree, very unprofessional.

rec'd msg from 888-724-9267 just now on my cell.  did not answer and immediately placed that number on the iPhone Silent ring tone so i will not be disturbed anymore.  i have AT&T so you might want to get the silent ring tone from Apple for about 99 cents.

Thanks, Rob.  Yep - it was Schwans.  It was an automated message telling me my delivery driver would be a day late this week.  I wish they could fix their system so that it leaves messages instead of hanging up when nobody answers, cuz I ignored it the first time :(  But I was glad to know because I actually ordered a couple days ago online and was looking for my ice cream! :)

I answered! And yes, it is Schwan's letting me know of the schedule change next week due to Christmas.

If their  Name had come up in the  Caller ID I would have answered my phone.  I missed them the last round and would have made an order or marked my calender.  If no name comes up on my  Caller ID...I dont answer.

keep receiving phone calls from the above number....has become annoying to the point of harrassment...want to have this stopped...

I do use Schwans, but I do not appreciate picking up the phone, saying, "Hello?" and having the phone disconnect. NOT COOL! Schwans, if you read this, stop the robo calling, it's a major turnoff!

Oh, and Bubba, DUH! Of course it doesn't work. I've been on it since it was first installed. It worked for the first few years, but ever since scammers started using the list to find out who to call, it stopped working. And until the government actually ENFORCES their own rules in regard to the violations and reported callers, it will never work again!

The DNC does work, nor do they sell the lists to illegal telemarketers..  You have assumed that it covers all calls when in fact it does not. Nor does it protect you from the illegal callers either. And yes they do enforce it..

In this instance, you need to contact Scwans directly or your driver and tell them to stop.  Then if they do not then you actually have a complaint. The laws changed in regards to having mutual business relationships in Oct of last year..
