This is the fifth call this week from five different numbers regarding supposed fraud on my Amazon account.
They called me and left this voice message;
SprintFreeMsg:  I am calling you about your Amazon prime account. I wanted to inform you that your Amazon prime account has been compromised as there is an order for an iPhone 10 with $549 for which the card attached to your Amazon account is being charged. We have placed hold on it is that order seems to be fraudulent. So please call us on this toll free number 1-888-726-4457. I repeat 1-888-726-4457 to talk to an Amazon Fraud Department executive. Thank you.

I received the exact same message as Bill Fields (above) received. I actually received two different messages on May 22, 2021 stating it was Amazon fraud department calling because there was a $549 charge for an iPhone and they thought the charge was bogus so they wanted me to return their call.  Please be careful of these SCAMMERS.

I got the exact same call about the Amazon account and the $549 fraud charge about an iPhone!!! They want you to get on your laptop so they can fix it but what they will do is copy your keystrokes and get I to all your accounts!!!

I received the exact same call about Amazon account and $549 phone charge, come people we are trying to get back to normal get a REAL JOB and stop trying to con hard working people out of there money.

Three times today so far (every 20 minutes)......same message

Got this message today 2 separate times. IT'S A SCAM so please do not fall for it! I can just tell by the way they were talking. It says "I wanted to inform you that your Amazon prime account has been compromised if there is an order for an iPhone X with $549 for which the card attached to your Amazon account is being charged we have placed a hold on it is that order seems to be fraudulent so please call us on this toll-free number 1-888-726-4457 I repeat 18887260457 to talk to an Amazon fraud department executive thank you…” .

I am getting a similar message of fraudulent activity on my Amazon account except they don't mention an iPhone charge.  I've gotten at least 3 messages over the last month (about once per week).
