Go marketin is the name of the company.  They identify themselves as Google when they call

very persistent to get us to pay $99 or my Organic listing is deactivated! They did introduce as Google and only read my public business info... didn't know my name - red flag! Got 2 800#'s... looked them up and got to this listing ;) Thank you!

Wanted me to pay $99 for renew my google business listing or my business would be listed as closed, very persistent, wanted my cell # so send text,

They called me saying that in order for my business to continue on google search that I’d have to pay $99 for the next 2 years.

Called me and said they were Google. They tried to get my Google code and charge me $99.
They gave me the Google phone number at first when I ask to be able to call them back. 650.253.000 is Google's legit number.

They called in saying that we did not certify our business with Google. Said we had to renew every 2 years. Scam.... they are not with Google.

They called and said I need to pay $99 one time fee to get my Google listing out of a "non-maintenance" status. They sent a code to a cell number and said it would expire in one hour.

This company indicated that they were Google, wanted me to reply to a Google activation code that they sent via text.   Spoke with an accent.   Requested a payment to keep my Google account current.  Only confirmed the information available on the website such as address, tel#, and hours.   Requested that I speak with the supervisor to confirm our basic info for a 2 years placement at the top of Google listing.

888-726-4470 says us return number. Also tried calling from the 2 numbers he called me and both phone numbers call did not go through

phoned said they were from google, i asked for proof,  gave me 888-726-4470 and employee ID GO2525  to verify. number that came up on phone was 975-347-4701  Very heavy accent and a lot of noise in back ground.  I would say SCAM

Don't give these callers any information.  They're pretending to be google maps and your business listing will expire in 24 hours if you don't verify your business account information.  Not sure what they're up to, but they're not legit.  Beware!

Called saying a $99 "non maintenance" charge was due from Google. Heavy Indian/Pakistani accent. Background chatter was loud. Very persistent, called 3 times in one week.

Told me he was from Google and our organic listing will be deactivated because when they tried to verify it we didn't answer the phone so it is on hold. To reactivate it I need to pay $99.00.  Caller id says 970-457-3203. When I asked for his contact info. This is what he gave me: Daniel Fernandez (heavy Indian accent)

Woman with heavy (east Indian?) accent asked for owner of Magness Piano Service, I told her that's me she said she was from Google verifying my listing. I asked how much does this cost, I get calls like this every few weeks some company wants to pick me up as a client. She said she didn't know about that her manager handles that, I verified the info from my listing then a man who identified himself as Lance Andre with an east Indian accent much lighter than hers came on the phone. He asked my cell number then sent a text to my phone, purportedly from Google. He gave his employee number as GD060611 then asked for $99 to be paid via CC or debit Card. I told him I had never had to pay Google before, he claimed this was new, for 2 years, he had given me his phone number, the one I found this site with, so I said I had to leave & would call later. She called me 45 minutes later  he called me 3 times 171/2 hours after that. 3 times in 5 minutes which is what convinced me it was a scam!!! REAL Google employees have better things to do than spend their time chasing after one sole proprietor piano technician!!

Trying to extort money so my website wouldn't be shut down by Google.

They called and heavily insisted that they were from Google. It seemed strange to me from the get go. After going back and forth with him for a while, he asked for my phone number and send me some code that was supposedly from google. I realized it was a scam and hung up.

I just got off the phone with them and I almost lost $99. While having them on the phone, I did a search for 888-726-4470 and because I found this website with everyone’s responses, I asked them why others online are saying Bruce is a scam, they hung up on me!!!!! DON’T GET SCAMMED!! Do your research!
