Recorded message, which had the beginning cut off on my answering machine. The part I heard said that I had 24 hours to contact them to discuss my options on 4 criminal allegations against me having something to do with my tax filings. The 24 hours had to do with the expiration of something that would cause the local police to take me into custody because of these criminal allegations. I did a google search on the phone number and came up with some lawyers, Gerstein & Yu in New York.

I received a voice message, which the beginning was cut off. It was Referencing vague info and that I had 24 hours to contact them to discuss my options on 4 criminal allegations against me and I had 24 hours had to do with the expiration of something that would cause the local police to take me into custody because of these criminal allegations. I did a google search on the phone number. Found another person that received a very similar message.  So worry.  It’s probably a scam.

Same thing 3 times in an hour and half

Received the same message as everyone else about the 4 charges about taxes and that I will be taken into custody in 24 hours if I don’t call back.

Same message twice in 30 minutes..sounds like bs to me.

I received a call from this number 2 times stating I had 4 charges against me regarding my taxes and I need to contact them within 24 hours or criminal charges will be made against me

Exact same thing everyone else has said! The beginning of the message is missing and then the same threats of being arrested. I tried calling the number back but they put me on hold and no one ever picked up.

I received the exact same message today. This is a scam! Do not call them back.

Sames as above.  Beginning cut off and four accusations against me and I had to call or face being taken into custody.

01-30-2019, I just got the same [***] call.  I am a retired detective and can garuantee you this is total scam and BS.  Nether the IRS, or any law enforcement agency is going to ever operate in this fashion.

Got the same call. Heard the entire message, there was no mention of my name, a broad location, or anything specific. I am disabled and collect SSDI, so I don't even file taxes. Most definitely a scam.

bad recording telling me they were IRS I had 24 hrs to call them back or they would have police arrest me. Obviously a scam. People need too be warned about this scam. I also would not call number back charges could occur on your phone bill.

About Taxes , said they were going to have me arrested if i didn't contact them .

I received the exact same call and voice message as reported by others, total scam. I blocked the number in hopes of avoiding additional calls.
