They call a lot, and when I answer a disinterested voice says something like "did you open the other one" as if talking to someone else nearby. When I called the number back, I got a recording referring to "share point complaint line".

The caller hung up when they got my answering machine.

Just got a weird call from this number.  When I answered a recording said "I have a call for you.  Please hold."  Then a recording said "all our operators are busy".  Imagine that?! They call me and they're busy!!  Very quickly a guy answered though.  Turns out this was the Appalachian Mountain Club calling about trail cleanup day, but they obviously use some sort of telemarketing system.

I have been getting tons of calls from 888-726-6691, maybe 5-9 per day or so. No one ever says anything on the other end when I answer, it's so weird!

I received a call this evening from this number. The woman identified herself as Jane Hemingway from the ACLU  and asked for my wife, by name. I immediately asked to be removed from the calling list, mentioning that we have a 4 month old infant at home. This woman had the nerve to then say, "Well, what's the rationale for that?" I then told her that we didn't want telemarketers calling our house, especially when my child is going to sleep. She then got all huffy, and said, "I'm not a telemarketer!" and abruptly hung up.

Excuse, me, you're a telemarketer, and also delusional!

They called here too.
