Looks like this number is linked to some sort of computer "tech support" scam. If it comes up on your computer screen, it purports to be a number connecting you to an "official" tech support company. These companies will ask for remote access to your computer and then charge you money. At best, they will do next to nothing and you will only be out whatever they charge you for their "service." At worst, your personal information is vulnerable if you let one of these hosers access your computer.

Besides the link on this site, an internet search on 888-727-1127 leads to a link with what purports to be a computer maintenance site offering various downloads to "fix" the 888-727-1127 problem. At best, this is just a marketing scam to sell you some useless software. At worst, it's a scam to get you to download more malware.

At any rate, it looks like another one to avoid.

Received a call from this number to my cell, didn't answer, no voicemail message left.

Called cell did I not answer they hung up no message left.   Called back no answer..

Called and left no message.  Likely a scammer.

Classic harassment that shows up about 9 months after you give a new credit card your phone number. Soon its recycled as a sales lead through a few dozen related businesses. Some quite illegal.

Scam caller to steal your info reward redemption number basically spam it says press 2 do be put on the do not call list.  According to attorney general office this just alerts scammer your an activate number that can be used for scams.

robocall on my phone from   888-727-1127 caller ID said "TOLL FREE" on Wednesday 10-26-16 318 PM.

credit card services SCAM call ............male with india/hindi accent came on the line and asked if I pressed 1.
I asked SCAMMER  "is this Visa?" He said "yes, this is Visa!"
He then started in with his script but there was a weird noise on the line and it went dead.
