Telling me that my mircosoft license on computer has expired.

"This is an emergency call to notify you that license of your Microsoft Window has expired. To renew license key please call

This is an emergency call, your microsoft lincense has expired on your computor now. Please call toll free 1-800-???? asap. scam city??

Called but I did not answer the call. Left robot call that stated "The license key for your Microsoft Windows 10 computer has expired."

This call is a scam. Those keys don't expire and don't need to be removed from the computer. To do so would break the computer and force it to give you 30 days to get a key before shutting down.

SCAM ALERT BEWARE:  CRIMINALS - Phony MS Tech Support, Microsoft Window has expired  - Received unsolicited call.   Criminals looking for gullible victims.  Old scam to get personal information and Credit Card info.

Received call this morning, unknown number so did not answer.  They left automated voice mail emergency call that Microsoft Windows key expired and to call 1-888-719-0920.  My caller ID said call was placed from Wilmington, Illinois.  Interestingly, the 0920 number has no reports on 800notes.  These [***] are a menace.

Caller ID says 800 Service...Emergency Call about my Microsoft license about to expire...I don't have any microsoft products.

A very old scam:
1) Microsoft never calls you.  For one thing, they don't have your phone number.
2) Windows licenses do not expire.
3) No matter what the phone number appears to be, these calls come from India and are placed over the internet.  The number you see on your phone is spoofed.

I cannot believe anyone could be a sucker for this MS key poop. I'm only sorry I didn't pickup, connect to and get a live person to inflict my ire upon. For a long time the word on scams has been out in all media, hang up.

Spammers spoofing a legit number. It's an emergency! My Microsoft Windows key has expired! Hmmmm, I'm a Mac owner. The callback number was different than the CallerID number. Blocked.

Scammers number is listed as Amazon on internet.
(888)727-1633....talked just like an Amazon rep would.. told me I had a red flag on my account and that somebody was trying to charge Apple products computer etc. on my account out of four different states. Told me I needed to go to Safeway and purchase a security card. Ask for verification of my Amazon account which is normal but asked what the last four digits of my credit card number was in my recent purchases.I told him I was not comfortable needed to speak with my husband first he said that the Amazon delivery location closest to me was the Safeway store and that is why he was asking me to purchase a Safeway security card.

I had the same thing just happen to me. Suppose to be an amazon rep. Asking me to download different apps. Can’t believe I fell for it but I stopped before they did anything. I hope.
