They called my job and asked for my manager and left my hr a message saying the where serving for some charges, they did not say what or who they where... Very inappropriate..Something should be done.My supervisor was looking at me like I commited a crime...

Got a call...didn't answer. VM stating that there were charges being filed against me for a payday loan I took out in 2006, I asked for a letter validating the debt but they said they would not send me a letter. They said the check from this payday loan that was NSF and for what I'm getting charged for was presented to my bank on 11/29/06 and that they called my bank to verify that the account was mine.

Here's the issue. I didn't have this account in 2006 so there's NO WAY they could have verified this with my bank. My account was set up in 2008. I called my bank who verified that there was NO check presented from Authorized Payday Loans and that NOONE had called to verify that information. My bank is investigating this further and will get back to me when they figure it out. In the mean time, I have changed my account number and ordered a new card.

They knew my social, my dob, my old employer whom they called to verify I was employed, and my old address. ALL A LITTLE FISHY which makes me VERY SKEPTICAL.

Now....about 2 months ago, I was in a bind and applied for a payday loan. One of which I got from a ligit, physical, free standing company that I go to to pay. It wasn't until I applied for a payday loan online that I started getting calls from these PAYDAY LOAN people claiming I owe money and that I have charges filed against me.

If this is ligit, the I will fight it in court but until then, I'm not chancing anthing.

One more thing...if you try to google Allstate Mediation Firm online, NOTHING comes up!!!

I finally got a hold of the right person to deal with at the company. After I told the original operator that what they were doing was illegal they transferred me to a different dept that was actually willing to work with me and give me information. They were harassing members of my family with phone calls and telling them that I had used them as references for a loan. That is illegal because it is untrue.
