They send out fraudulent mail disguised as official government mail in attempt to trick you into changing your mortgage. The company is actually VC Solutions out of Golden Colorado and their other number is 877-395-8315. Do not be fooled by their telemarketers or mail, they are a private organization and are in no way associated with any government agency.

Report them for their deceptive marketing to the FTC and your state's Attorney General.

I, too, received a letter with #866-440-2126 from "VC Solutions" out of Golden CO. "Vinnie" also gave me a 877-395-8315 with 8am-8pm MST office hours to call back and get further information. What I don't understand is how they even have the information re my high credit card balance. I've never missed a payment or been late on one, so I wasn't worried about what the letter stated (possible wage garnishment, bank levy, etc.) but what information is out there that gives a company this information? Does anyone know?

A friend received letter from this place knew it was a total scam because there was no business name anywhere upon the letter. Called the 1-877-417-1268 number and asked for name of business and state where business is located. Also told them I would be checking them through the better business bureau. Operator was a bit shocked and reluctantly gave me name and location. Will be turning this fraudulent business into the state attorney generals office. Only guessing but these parasite companys seem to be buying our credit info from legit credit services then using info for scams.

My son received a letter from these people. Something about it gave me a bad feeling
I am glad I called them and asked them for more information. They are not legit. How the heck do they have access to our information on credit cards?

Phone # on my letter is 1 888 281 7638.  No company name on it and no mention of where this debt originated   Called from a work #, not a personal one.  Faxed info to my legislator and they're passing on to the Attorney General.   Has been reported.

I also just got a letter in the mail. I'm not stupid, so when she asked for the processing number, I said I have some questions for you first. She seemed to have no problem telling me VC Solutions. Letter had no company name, no return address, all super sketchy. She said she would transfer me to someone who could explain where they got my info, but she had to have my name and processing number first. So I'll try to report this as well. I feel terrible for the older folks or just ill-informed that fall for these scams. Bad people.

Any communication received by US mail which appears fraudulent should be turned over to the local post office so that the postal inspectors can take a look at it.  This may be some form of mail fraud.

Rec'd same letter as everyone else. Told me to call 877-293-8436. Processing 3 DMFL7112749169 (thinking the last two is the acronym for state of residency per the information they got on me in the first place). I live in Florida. Very nice young lady answered the phone. Her name was Haylie. She asked for my processing number and verified my first and last name. She then told me she was "overflow" and would have someone contact me during business hours if I left my phone number with her. I asked what "overflow" meant in the term she had just used it. She said it meant she is a answering service and I was calling outside of business hours. I asked her very nicely for the name of the company who sent me the letter with the corresponding processing number. She very pleasantly and not hesitantly gave me the name "VC Solutions". Even got her to spell it for me to be sure I marked it correctly. I told her politely that no call back was necessary and I'll try to catch them via business hours tomorrow. She didn't ask for my number or pressure me at all. Just said okay no problem, thanks and Merry Christmas! this page is the first of my research on this company so if I find more out I will let you guys know.

I have been receiving notices from this for a while and finally thought to see if my suspicions were correct. (Bad gut feeling, anyone?) The number on my form was 1-888-313-7143 and I had the same scenario as one of the previous posters. I spoke with Tamika who was answering for "overflow" although I called during business hours which are 9AM to 9PM EST. I called at 8:30 AM Central Time. She asked for the statement file # which I gave, she asked for my name and how to spell it, because she was "taking the information down to pass on to a representative that would call me back." Also asked for my phone number. I asked for the name of the company that would be calling me and she stated VC Solutions. We ended the call and I immediately started looking up information and found this. So just another confirmation that my gut instincts were correct. Thank you to everyone that has posted the same experiences.
