ACH services, they left a case number so assuming it's for collections

Left 2 messages at my number within the last 3 weeks.  First said I was a "person of interest" in an important case and must call them back immediately with a case number.  Second named someone else (who doesn't live with me, and I don't know anyone of the name mentioned), saying the same thing.  A reverse look-up of the phone number lists it as florist in Kentucky.  If you browse "person of interest phone scam," you'll see that a number of other callers report the same call from different numbers.

I keep getting calls at work regarding some legal matter. i assume it is a bill collector. They say they are from a pre legal dept

The calls that were made to get in touch with me were actually answered at my grandmothers house.  How they got that number as a way to reach me is a bother.  First call, "person of interest".  Second call was call back immediately and left a case number.  Patricia Carter was the name given as person to contact.

The call was a recording, asking for a relative that doesn't live here.  Stated the relative was a "person of interest", press one to speak to someone.

Recived a second call, with similar message, person of interest, call back or a decision will be made without you.  Kind of threatening or intimidating.

These unruly dumbass un proffesional people called my sick dying grandma and said that they are going to issue a summons for my arrest if i did not pay off an old pay day loan the man i spoke with brian davis is a rude sob! he went on saying that he is some kind of officer of the law and stated that he would see to it personally that i was taken into custody and they would send some officers to my house for questioning! this happened a few weeks ago and i called the local attorney general (quomo) in buffalo ny and they insured me that a full blown investigation was already under way, so no worry people these blood suckers are doooooooooomed!

did you ever find out what this was?  I have received several calls as well, but they are looking for my sister in law...i don't know weather to call them back or not
