Just received a call from this number and looking up here to see if there are any reports.  I can't seem to find any information on this number at this time.  Caller ID had "UNAVAILABLE" and internet search came up with nothing.  If anyone else gets a call from this number, it's called us but that's all I know.  We don't answer the phone anymore.

Just called and left a message.  Caller ID says "EVICORE" and the message mentioned the name of our health insurance plan.  They asked that my wife call them back. When we did, they went into an automated spiel about how if we're over 50 we may qualify for some sort of health monitoring service, which sounded fishy.  I called our insurance company and they said that while they do use Evicore for precertification, there is no reason for that firm to be calling us and a health monitoring service is not part of their arrangement with Evicore.  Precertification should be completely between the doctor, insurance company, and Evicore.
The insurance company rep said to ignore the call and that it may be a scam.

I just received a call from this number today (Nov 29, 2017). They left a message identifying themselves as "Aetna Heath Management" with "an important update about a service your doctor recently requested". And then they left a 9 digit case number. It sounded fishy to me. Too generic "your doctor" Which one? "a service recently requested" What service? And if this were true, why didn't my doctor tell me about this.

I had to call Aetna on another matter and asked them about it and they said "we don't show any record of an out-going tasks for you." I saw another post about someone saying it was a company called Evicore who managed their insurers pre-certs. Aetna uses Met Solutions for pre-cert. So perhaps it is a similar thing - a 3rd part provider of Aetna's using their relationship and contact information to unethically attempt to drum up new business? In any event, I don't like the way they approached it and tried to act as though they were doing something for my healthcare provider as clearly that's a lie and I don't do business with liars.

They called asking for me by name and then for my birthday after I verified that yes, I am me.  I refused to give my birthday to the automated system.  It then ( after 4 times repeating the instructions to me) "transferred me to a representative" which was a fax machine. I vote scam.

The message stated it was from Aetna Health Management about a recent service my doctor ordered.  I called back and would not verify my date of birth to the automated system and it went to a fax machine after 5 times asking me to verify.  I contacted Aetna and they confirmed this is NOT an affiliated number and they do not have any record of a recent request by my doctor.

Update to this.  This is Med Solutions which Atena uses for pre-authorizations for medical procedures.  This is a valid call.

I also got the Evicore Caller ID and case number.  When I called the number it asked for my birth date.  I hung up and after reading the above, I think it is a scam.

I got a call today from this number claiming to be calling from Canada Revenue Services and that there is some action against me by the Canada Treasure (something that doesn't exist). It's definitely a scam number.  The Canada Revenue Agency does not make phone calls.
