They are try to collect an old debt that I paid off...

Call trying to collect on a alledge debt. Wasn't even mine

I was called by someone saying they were a process server and they gave me this number. I called and was told I was being sued in small claims and a lien being put on my house for some alleged car loan debt from 25 years ago! When I told him if I even owed it which I doubted it was long past any statute of limitations. He told that did not apply! Ha! The judge is my neighbor..guess I will talk to him.
I will add I have never in 25 years been contacted by anyone about this plus I have had several vehicles financed since by the same finance company!
