I received a call from what appears to be a process server company with a new twist (Document Services). The gentleman called me back and left the phone to call the company handling the "complaint". When I called it after hours they did not identify who they were. Scam? Not sure. They knew my name, married and single.

been calling with same scam.. got court date. called my son and sisters,and office where I live.. called them back for their address and company name,wouldnt give it to me,kept wanting to transfer me to rep...  zombie debt collector at best.

Someone named Jay Hernandez from Nationwide Delivery Services needs me to contact them in regards to an important document they need to discuss with me, otherwise it will be forwarded to a higher level (?) Whatever I know it's a load of crap.

also look up 888-763-5138  -- they have doing this along time and looks like they recently changed their phone number and name.. They are claiming to be a law firm: Sloan and Sager which is BS because they are nothing but low-life debt collectors..  address:

someone left an illegal message on my phone stating I had 24 hours to contact this # before action was taken against me it's been 24 hours and no one has came to serve me with nothing.. Don't let their threats scare you..just record the message and show it to the police same way I did.. They are full of [***]

same here they took my money it's OK I'm going to the bank to reverse it see who's laughing at the end..pay them then report them.. They send u fake emails that's why they go into ur spam mailbox.. they are a scam and for taking my money and providing fake emails they will be shut down..don't let them fool you

some guy called me by the name of justin making threat's to me on my property told me to go [***] myself then hung up..little did they know it's on recording.. How r Yuh gonna call someone and pretend to be a buisness yet say illegal things like that..they go by national document servicing. Scam!!!

some harassing guy name Jeffrey called me and my whole family I'm getting sick of this crap.they are wasting their time because they are a scam

someone from this company called my work and gave me this # to call regarding Document Processing, however they can not give me any information as to what this is about. Today they called the administrator of my office and asked that he give me the same information about calling them back. Not gonna do it

Refusing to give you information - illegal.
Discussing matters with a third party (administration) - illegal.
If you were to get a real summons, you would not be warned.  You might want to show this thread to your boss.  Others have had similar problems.

I am getting the same calls about a family member.

debt scam letter states it has been purchased by Cromwell & Weiss (LLC) and then at the bottom it says Edward T. Weber is an attorney at law licensed ony in the State of California etc etc..  Seems as if this Edward Weber is the person behind this Cromwell & Weiss scam

I had a message from "Matthew" 888-732-3570.  Mumbling something about document processing and if I don't respond after this final call, further action against me, then gave me a case number #98-00321.  Called back, asked who they were (since "Matthew" is a mumbler) and where they were located.  Sloan and Sager from CA.  They transferred me after giving them "my case number" (snicker).  A girl asked for my last 4 SSN.  Refused to give this info.  She asked for my birthdate.  I gave her my birth year only.  It didn't match.  I asked to know what last 4 SSN she had, she refused to tell me.  I said "but it's okay for me to give you mine?".  She started yelling at me something about letting the attorney know and hung up the phone on me.  Total scam.  If there is any legal lawsuit, they will send a summons IN THE MAIL.  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!!!
