This is a scam. Similar to others on here they claim to be from a currier service delivering sealed documents. Leave this number to call with a file number to reference. They claim that you owe a debt, and have a civil case against you if you don't pay it now. I called the original company that I knew I have settled with years ago, and they said to be very careful, this is a scam... They have no record of me ever owing them anything. So the previous payment I made was probably a scam too!

This office Cromwell & Weiss contacted me but what they told me was that they wanted to send me a document regarding an attempt to collect on an unsettled debt. I had them send it to me via e-mail and i called the bank , what the bank informed me was that they had sold the contract to a collection agency. I called that collection agency and the also informed me that they had sold the account. Cromwell & Weiss actually had the right to collect on this debt because it was something that slipped trough the cracks with a bank account of mine and they still had the right to collect because it was still within the statute of limitations. What pisses me off is that nobody ever informed me about this until the interest fees accrued. Pay your dues people.
