received letter stating we qualified for permanent elimination of future Timeshare Maintenance fees.  (We don't have a time-share).  The letter stated they have 'attempted contacting you several times without success'.  (We're also on the no-call list).

Received letter stating we now qualify to permanently elminiate all future Timeshare Maintenance Fees.    Got rid of our timeshare back in 2012 because the maintenance fees were getting higher and higher.  THEN, we start getting calls and letters that we qualify to have fees eliminated...............yeah, right!!!   Now, I never answer these calls, and I throw all letters into the trash.  I'm also on the Do Not Call registry.

I get letters all the time and probably calls as well ( which I never answer). I have no idea who these people are for real. Has anyone ever dealt with a reputable timeshare company and had a positive experience? I have one I want to sell.

Received letter like those above.  It's a scam.
While the company and address listed in the mail (Regency Communications) are real, I suspect they are not related to the phone number or creeps behind this scam.

Received a letter with this number. Called them, and they say they are conducting a seminar that can help us get rid of our timeshare maintenance fees--or our timeshare altogether.  They say they put a $30 hold on your card, but that you won't be charged unless you don't show up for the seminar.  I gave them a virtual card number I created against my account, since I'm not comfortable enough to give them my actual card number yet.  Will write update once we go to the seminar tomorrow.
