Called my mom and left this number. When I called them they said they were suing me over a Wells Fargo account I had opened back in 2008 (but it was actually 2007) from a fraudulent check i supposedly tried to cash. The man wouldn't give me any information but gave me an account number and a number (877) 647-8552 to call Wells Fargo which is obviously an associated number. I just went up to my local Wells Fargo and they confirmed what I already knew. It's a scam. The name of the company is Stratford and Byrd associate.

Call didn't have the right last name at all. Proceeded to tell me there was a complaint forwarded to the this guy's office. Said his name was Robert Hall but it sounded like a robo call.  If I didn't call legal action would be taken against me... Etc. This was left in a voicemail. Caller ID was all zeros

Called my number looking for someone with my last name. Left a very lengthy message that they were representing the court and proceedings would go forward with or without consent....blah blah blah blah. I called back to request not call my number again.  Very Very Pushy and would not give a company name. Insisted I knew this person and they were only trying to help them.  Another collector that thinks they can bully folks.

Gave a case number but didn’t state what they wanted. Very rude when questioning them

Just a call from a private number telling me that I need to contact 888-739-5166. I asked for more details but she wouldnt tell me any further answer. If I wanna know more is too call that number listed above with a case number. Didnt bother to call

Hardly could understand the voicemail that was left. The girl (her name sounded like Myra Brown) sounded like she was mumbling the whole time, especially when she states where she's calling from. This is done on purpose so that they can get out of being sued for harassment and fraud. She called for mom and completely butchered her name by mispronouncing it. The number came up as "No Caller ID". I knew this is bogus because obviously someone sold this company my cell number to get to my mom, who is retired and I handle all her finances. She doesn't owe anyone anything.

Don't call them back and block 888-739-5166.

Exact the same number that called me telling me they’re filling a lawsuit against me .what is these.a scam?the number not showing more likely caller id .thats it!

Got a call from “No Caller ID” and the lady gave me this number to call to “setup a time to receive legal documents”. HA! Didn’t even use the correct last name for me. Obviously not calling the number back and will be blocking it. Not the first time they have tried this on me. I also have multiple voicemails with this same number also saying they are “pursuing legal action” against me but won’t give me any further information.

I received a call from a private number asking for my sister,  when I asked who they were she kept talking over me and refused to disclose where she was calling from.  The only think she kept repeating was "we are a processing office,"  I asked her to identify her self and she just started saying to call back that phone number and gave a reference number and then said "GOOD LUCK to your sister" and hung up.

I think it’s a scam. They called my number and left a voice message stating my mom’s mom regarding a case filed against her. When they called again, I asked them where they were calling from and I was given no direct name. He just said some court. It’s a scam
