is anyone else recieving calls from this number.  they are saying they are debt collectors trying to collect from years ago

If you had a debt from yrs ago, check the statute of limitations in your state. Most are around 5 or 6 yrs.

SOL varies by state from 3 years to 15 years.  Making a generic statement such as that is extremely misleading.  Further, SOL simply tells you the time they have to sue you, not the time they have to collect unless you live in Wisconsin or Mississippi.

What is the name of the company name?  What are they calling about.  You have given us very little information to work with.  At this point, this is the best I can do for you (also read my reply to Xx).
