Last refuge of a scoundral; to play the race card as an argument.  Doesn't matter what color your skin is.

In any event, race has nothing to do with what Mr Frank and his associates are doing.

You ask me, he doesn't seem to have much knowledge of the proper procedures for collecting debts under the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Does he really know what he and his employees can do and what they cannot do when trying to collect a debt?

And he may not have taken care of whatever requirements the state of Texas imposes on debt collectors.

My suspicion is that he's gone into the business of debt collection in the hope of scaring money out of debtors--and if it is necessary to go to court, he's hoping against hope that all his defendants will simply default out.

My recommendation is that if you are contacted by Mr Frank and any of his associates about a debt, (assuming they even ID themselves as debt collectors)--demand a debt validation letter be sent to you by US mail.  E-mail no good.  If they won't do this, then simply ignore the calls and block them.

Obviously, if you are properly served with a valid summons and complaint then you must answer it within the allotted time.  Failure to do so could lead to a default.  If you are served with proper papers you will need at that point legal counsel.

As of now, it seems Mr Frank and his associates are not following proper procedures for collecting debts.

Yes, only the worse scammers will mention a person's children.  Makes my blood boil.  Some of these creepy debt collectors will tell parents that CPS is going to take their kids away because of a default on a payday loan or some other such damnable nonsense.

I think your being a prejudiced bigot as well as racist!  The way you wrote that is pure racist bigotry. Hypocrite much? Hello - Pot meet Kettle! I could care less what color someone is. You could be purple with neon green polka dots and 5 arms and legs from the plant Zantax. Liars, shills, thieves come in all colors and every country!

Take your prejudiced racist bigotry elsewhere, its not welcome here! Don't let the door hit you on the way out, its that way ▬►

Woah, dropping the race card? Are you THAT pathetic? White, Black, Brown, Orange, Pink, Blue, Purple, makes no difference, "Maria". As B-Edwards put it, "Shills don't come in colors or sexes." However, those with the attitude and disposition as you like to bring it up and play the race card which is quit sad, yet laughable.
The FACTS are from prior reports..
    - "I've gotten several calls threatening me"
    - "They threaten him telling him that they will take me to court and that even i can loose my children."
Are all scambag scare tactics that are completely illegal as per the FDCPA.
LEGIT collection firms refrain from such tactics thus this so called "law firm" is as pathetic as you are supporting said tactics where as someone is threatened that they will lose their children.
Have a fresh cup and crawl back under the rock you reside. You're despicable.

I've my doubts that the "actual lawyer" has the stones to let such claims go to trial, which would likely attract journalists, the state AG, FTC, et al.

What, you wanted an initial dunning letter, too? You know what those things cost? Up to a grand apiece .... for failure to provide one to the alleged debtor.
