You have to stop them yourself. Invest in a call blocker and don't answer calls from unknown phone numbers if at all possible.

I did the same but I gave them the address the the County jail as my address.  They hung up and 1/2 an hour later they said they just "attempted" to serve me and no one was home and I said "really?  the jailer wasn't there" and they hung up and haven't called back since!

I received the same call as you did over a 100.00 old payday loan back in 2010 stating I own them over 400. something don't sound right so i'm calling the FBI

Just got this same call a,few minutes ago... they don't even know who you are... they picking numbers at random....Scammers!  I called my county sheriff's  office and police department!

Yes they are calling me to no point in having a home phone anymore it's all scams

Harper from priority legal services said he be at my house in the next 24-48 hrs and that I would need two forms of ID...

Contacted the number, left message and then thought I'd this a scam?  Ive never been in trouble!  Later investigated the name of business and phone number and became aware of scare tactics and scams.

Just got this same message word for work.  The warning sign for me was that their number and the claimant number was the same.  Also, Process servers never give you warning-Scam

Yes I agree, it's along the same lines of getting a random email stating the same thing.  You would know about it when they show up at your door. Not via email or some robo call

I recieved a call... I called back and invited them to come on over, Iet them know I'd have the police waiting and that I would be happy to take the summons once the police looked over it.... The guy that answers says ma'am we don't have to do all of that.... That's extreme. I asked for an exact time and he responded "forget it" ... That's hilarious!!!!

says he is James Martin and has a summons in hand blah blah.... Also same day hit with calls from Legal Caring Service.... they call numerous times. Also calls to say he is with Rossi, Heckeman & Associates. When I call number they answer as "Law Office" THen immediatlely ask for my SSN. I refused. SCAMMERS

I got the same exact call an message today.

Just received exactly the same message today July 13, 2017 for the third time in the last month and before that my DIL received the same message on her cell phone but with my name, not hers.  So far nobody has shown up.  HAHAHA  SCAM!!!!  Don't these lowlifes have anything better to do?

Same message as the rest.  I find it interesting that no one on this list has reported being served (having someone show up with the summons).

Got a voice mail at work, same as many of these... "This is Thomas Gates with her TV go caring services and I have a summons in for you I am scheduled to go out to your home in place of employment within the next 24 to 48 hours.

I called back, got their fax info under the guise of proving a loan I took 5 years ago was paid off with bank statements to prove it, I am sending them a fax of a cease and desist letter or my lawyer will be contactting them.   BTW, for anyone interested, it is absolutely illegal for them to threaten action that they have no intention of following thru with... i.e a court summons.

I called the FBI..they are aware of the summons scam and encouraged me to call the Federal Trade Commission  877-382-4357 and give them the call back phone number.

thank you a whole lot here, though i was familar with some of this I really started to believe they had something on me and then got semi confused. wanted to call em back but ended up here trying to see who the heck Rossi,Hackerman, & Associates were or were not. just got off the tele w/ a fellow claiiming to be Robert Grier from Rossi,Hackerman,& Assoc. in Filmore,NY ( the later address I discovered but it was attached to the 888-528-0557 original telephone call here. There isn't a Rossi, etc law office listed in NY , the is one of Rossi only in RI. (maybe he's confused). Asked for Proof of Debt, they named a co. I may have had busines with back 7 yrs ago. Payday loans , even online ones were illegalized in NC back in 2010 or close to that. This sounded like a charged off loan and it was bought by a 2nd's company that are now trying to collect more than the stated loan of $350 ; theyre stating w/deficientcy fees, etc fees the amount is now due of $550.00. I never agreed I was more than my name, they didn't even have a case number isssued and had to find one. After the guy continued to argue and state I've said this was my loan, which I never  stated anything at all, just listened to his views, and asked questions. Denied he was working with a 2nd's company etc. So at he end I invited him to come on out, if he could find the place and good luck in my being here, and in my having two forms of ID. How will he know its me if they bought a 7yrs loan that likely was charged off. ?
