Where did you send the money?

I send the money through Money Gram, first i send 2,021 for security deposit. After that, i called them back again and they told me to send another 1,200 for insurance. After all i called them again and want to refund my money back and they told me again that i can get my refund on the 15th and 20th of the month but i don't get nothing. Did you get your money back from them?

I found a website that will do a investigation on the 800 number we have all be calling... has anyone thought about hiring a private investigator to see what they can dig up on these people? The website says its $145 but if nothing is found they refund $130 of it. I would do it but I can barely pay my bills right now after having all that money stolen from me!

I just received an e-mail from the BBB about my complaint against SCF and it said that they have tried twice to contact the company with no response so they have put my complaint on file and if the companies files are ever requested my complaint will be included BUT it only brought the company rating down to a C... please please please do on the the BBB and file complaints with all the SCF companies you can find! If we bring down their score hopefully no one will get sucked in to this scam.

I filed a complaint with the BBB  already they told me the same thing.SCF score with the BBB is a F...

When I search it is tell me that one have a B+ rating and the other have a C-... there are a few under SCF that have A+ and B ratings.

Nope!  Never got it back and I don't look to get it back.  I just hope and pray they get caught.

This is why they're going to be so hard to catch.  They requesting funds to be sent out of US so there's nothing anyone can do to stop them.  I called everyone from my local police to the Canadian authorities.  I hate to say it, we're just screwed.

I did that already, I spoke to Michael Sedio from the BBB. He told me they are doing an investigation.

I just tried to call the number again and just as I suspected it is finally taken down... seems to me they have packed up and are probably using new information to scam new people... these people are super sneaky... be careful!!!

i think this company has morphed and is trying to scam us. we recently have been looking for a mortgage loan, and this lady called and said we were approved for 169k home loan, in cash. they said you pay 5400 bucks now and they wire 169k into my bank acct. i thought it sounded fishy or too good to be true, but i checked the bbb and dre (dept or real estate) webiste, and they checked out. with no complaints. with a b+ rating. so i researched them alot on the internet, with surprisingly little results and cannot find an office number that they answer. there is one listed on the bbb and the contract they sent me, that match up. but they donot answer. the number i call is an 800 number. thats where my loan lady answers.this loan sounded too good to be true, for me and my husband with bad credit under 620. who couldnt get a conventional loan (we were looking at fha if anything) and this one lady calls and says we are approved! i hadnt heard approved yet. let alone on a conventional morgage cash loan with only 5% interest rate and only 5400 bucks down. so we have almost done it, but not quiet! as of today, the day we almost signed the contract and sent the money, my father in law shows my husband this website. i belive i have found the companie you are all looking for! although you have it as southern financial, or whatever, with different named girls, i have it as LM loan mart. website is www.online-loanmart.com
phone number is 18662576697 ext 909 was my lady, stephanie longwood. the listed office number they never answer is 9494489443. they are located at 22982 la cadena dr, suite 225, laguna hills, ca. it is still based out of southern california. the main reason my father in law found this to be the same scam companie, is the license numbers!! is BBB stupid?? this companie has the identical numbers as southern financial!!! they are exact!! same license numbers!! i will put them here so you can see!!

this is the same as the southern financial company!! i believe they are trying to scam me for 5400 bucks! maybe more from what it sounds. the BBB has this company loan mart as owned by an alex carney. supposedly in buisness since 1998. i felt it checked out when i checked the BBB and DRE websites, no complaints on file, no nothing. b+ rating.  but now as i have seen this, i am deathly scared, and wont be going through with it. i also had the thought that maybe some internet hacker type is just posing as this company lm, and made a fake contract and sent to me. then asked me to wire money to there private lender. its fishy, but every question i asked she had a response. she even is sending over an approval letter for me to bid homes with now, before i send her the down payment. so i really thought it was real, if my realtor can take this paper and offer on homes with me. i would like to think this isnt the same company/scammers as southern financial, but with the same numbers it just has to be. i wish the BBB would be smart enough to realize when multiple companies are using the same license numbers and such , but different companie names and adresses! not related at all. i dont know. this sucks. i hope this helps you all, i hope it does. feel free to email me if you want to know more.

new name, same scam. almost got me good.

i just reported this to the  federal trade commissions ref #2267 4442 and i also did he comlaint.ic3.gov, as well as the BBB. i am emailing to mlopez@labbb.org. she is in their area of southern california.  next is the DRE dept of real estate. beyond that, i dont know what to do. i emailed a few of these people who commented on here, some are old, and my case is new, but same scam.
