Left a nasty Voicemail Legal Action or Civil Suit

I looked up this number - 888-762-2265 - and came to this post.  This website has been invaluable to me for years, to look up scam phone numbers, this isn't a site to communicate with the people that are calling you.  And yes, I realize your post is from a couple years ago, I was just wondering if you had to change your number after posting it here.  I hope you didn't get a million calls from a bunch of idiots.

PNC Bank - wanted to speak to Human Resources.

We are a small business and this number contacted us on behalf of one of our clients to set up credit card billing. In other words, so our client could pay US via credit card. No suspicious information was requested such as EIN etc. This phone number is for Pacific Continental Bank, which is a prominent business bank in the Pacific Northwest, it also happens to be OUR bank. It is legit. None of the "Call Types" seem to fit this particular call.

I believe it's PNC Bank calling back but her voicemail is choppy so I came here to find out. I filed survey on PNC coz no one would assist me with a joint account to unlock my soldier sons locked account on deployment. Unhappy with them. Poor treatment of military. Excuses.

GOT SCAMMED BEFORE! MY PNC ACCT GOT HACKED

I got a call about clients wanting to set up a credit card payment but I’ve never worked for the company they stated and when I called back to PNC they told me it was a scam. Probably used some kind of mirror to show the call coming from PNC.

Very convincing call from official PNC phone number. Asked for PIN for a card that I cancelled last year.

Got a call saying there was fraudulent activity on my account in Texas and to confirmed the last 4 digits of my card and address. Asked me to type in my new and old pin of the card

Just happened to me too; called PNC after to confirm and they said it is a scam

I've received two calls from this number in past 2 days. I didn't recognize it so didn't answer. No message was left. Now I see that it is a PNC bank number, but there's no reason the bank should be calling me. I opened an account there less than a month ago, and I find it concerning that scammers seem to have already found that out.

Don't get over anxious about it, as scammers send those same messages to every random number they call and hope an actual bank customer responds. Generally they don't know who is a customer until someone confirms they are, its called "Phishing". Then they will call even more with scams, knowing its an actual customer.

Scam calling me by old name asking me to verify info called my twice in a weekend I’m like I called MY bank about this they have no idea what your talking aboit do not verify your information call your bank asap

Called on Sunday. I told them that I knew it wasn’t them calling on s Sunday and hung up. I’ve gotten other fake calls saying they were from. PNC.

I too understand ur post was 5 years ago but I am getting the same call with someone saying theres legal action against me.....highly unlikely!

Trying to say there was some type of legal action against me?
