- ArnoldI asked if I could be assured that this would be my final call to reduce my interest rate. All they could do was to hang up on me. I did them the courtesy to answer their call buy I guess that is a one way street. As the soup matzo says no soup for you.
- erkNot sure, they have been "blowing up my phone for several weeks now, I do not answer, they call 2 times back to back and then do not call again until the next day.

- A B MidwestThis is a scam that I have reported to the police, BBB, Target, eBay and FTC so far. More complaints will be filed to Postmaster General, FBI, and others to stop these scammers. They call with numbers that cannot be found on Intellius, and my local police said they are more than likely not in the country. But wanted to post all the numbers that are calling me claiming to be ebay customer service (or any number of customer service people that are supposedly trying to support you, and they ask you to perform transactions on your phone, so they can verify your identity, but really, they go into your phone apps and perform real financial transactions. The original fake ebay scam customer service number was given to me by Target-Dardenne Praire, MO location when I shopped there and bought (what turned out to be a invalid/unusable ebay gift card). The manager, Riley, said to call 888-523-1767. This number isn't even traceable on Intellius or Peoplefinders websites. How would Riley from Target know about this scam ebay customer support phone number if he was not personally involved. So I went back to Target and confronted Riley, and showed him all the ebay scam gift cards in the store, and he pretended not to remember giving me this false scam ebay customer service number and said he would take all the gift cards off the shelves. I reported him to Target, and they would do nothing. I reported him to the police and they wrote a report. I reported him on Yelp, to try to help people from avoiding this terrible scam. I reported this issue on the BBB website. I also reported this issue to the FTC, per ebay (the real ebay) request, because they don't want to do anything either. So far, my bank has been helpful to reverse the Target charges as fraudulent. I'm reporting this and all the numbers the fake ebay customer service people have kept calling me from and bothering me to try to look at my phone and gather more info and try to steal money from my accounts.

- ChipGot a call from +888-762-2265. Said they were from PnC bank. Said there was declined purchases in another state and wanted to verify my account. They had allot of information about my ATM card. Thing is, I never use it. After I hung up I tried to call them back and couldn't because it was an international call. I then called PnC at 1-888-762-2265 and they said there was nothing wrong with my account. It's that + sign with no 1 that gives it away even though the numbers are pretty much the same.

- ShaunSome Indian scammer who called me, claiming to be from PNC support. Asked for the amounts of the latest two transactions in my account, then attempted to get me to Zelle him $1000 to reverse a fraudulent Zelle charge. I told him no and that I was going to call the actual PNC Bank support line, at which point he started swearing at me.

- William| 1 replyThis was a SCAM. I don't know how they spoofed PNC's actual phone number, but they did. The person had a Chinese accent and almost immediately asked for the three digits on the back of my debit card. PNC will NEVER ask for those. This was to try to gain control of my card.

- BigA replies to WilliamSince you know about spoofing then why are you confused about how they did it? It happens all the time because they know that people look that stuff up and when they see that it is an actual number for a legitimate company then they fall for the scam.
