- Lehua| 1 reply(888) 771-0476 (ID Showed Toll Free Call). Since I found no reference of this number in 800notes, I googled it and appeared as "QuickBooks Support". The telephone rang 3 times and stopped. Did not go to voice mail. Since I have nothing to do with QuickBooks, I just ignored the call.

- Rick Sanchez| 2 repliesI didn't know who it was, so I rejected the call. They left a blank voicemail. A Google search shows links claiming it is a "QuickBooks support" number, but Intuit/QuickBooks' real Contact Us page on their own website (Google them) lists completely different numbers! All the links found by searching for this number lack any legitimacy, and none of them are linked to Intuit or QuickBooks' web pages. The number is being posted in response to QuickBooks-related questions on Reddit, Microsoft Support Forums, or other websites, with no verification that it is a correct number. I highly suspect this is a possible phishing or scam campaign being spread via biased search results (basically gaming SEO tactics to gain some appearance of legitimacy). I reported and blocked the number via the Google Phone app (you can similarly block numbers in iOS' Phone app). If you want to take it one step further, let Intuit (the company behind QuickBooks) know about this problem and/or report it to the FTC (if you're in the U.S.).

- Tracy replies to Rick SanchezI answered and it was "credit card services". Before I even got the whole sentence of "take me off your call list" she slammed down the phone. When I called the number back it was nothing to do with credit cards, it was quickbooks support. East Indian sounding man and I asked him to also take me off the call list. A very quick "OK" and hung up on me. Scammer!!

- Jay replies to Rick SanchezI just got a call from this number. I live alone and never answer my phone. I also never clink on email links. However my credit card bill this month had $800 in charges from 2 computer support company. Both with the same date. One company said they had no record of my ordering anything and the other company had a number that was not valid. Check your bills carefully. I believe this is the next scam.
- Ms KittyReceived a call from this number stated they have been monitoring my cards and that they can help me reduce my debt. I informed them that I do not have any credit cards and to stop calling me.
- Tied of scam calls replies to eavwhen i received the call I hit the option to learn how to reduce my credit card balance (which I don't have) and spoke to a dude. I asked him how he knew I had $10K or more in credit card debt. He said I may have the debt and he is willing to work with me to reduce it. He then asked me who I have credit with, when I interrupted and said, may I ask who I am speaking with... boom, phone connection gone! I did hit the redail number on my phone and was connected with quick books support as everyone has indicated. I spoke with a person there and told them they should open a ticket in their system to report that scammers have high jacked their number. He thanked me for the call. I feel really bad for people that believe someone on the phone wants to help them with anything.
