Fake PayPal costumer mass email. This batch of emails claimed that people were charged 499.99 in Bitcoin. Everyone on the list received this exact message. The person who asked me to help did NOT order any Bitcoin and will be calling the actual PayPal to inform them. This is a typical Refund Scam. The scammer will ask to connect his/her computer with yours to take control of it. They will either transfer money between the victims accts and/or change the HTML text behind a false/demo bank application, while covering the victims screen. The number entered is the number the scammers hope the victim will call, rather than PayPal/their bank.

I received an email stating that I sent a payment to Coinbase Global Inc.  This was to purchase 0.021BTC.  The value on this was 349.99 with a 50.00 transaction fee.  This was not a phone call but an e-mail.  When I called the number to tell them I did not order, there was no answer.  Just an immediate hang up.  I tried several times before I checked the number on the internet.
