Contact Resource Services has been cyber harassing me for years. Their latest is the guy with husky voice sounding like he is "working out" and demanding money. May 13/15 Phone number is :1 8887715803. If you call back you here a voice answer that it is Amanda speaking. Other phone numbers used by this outfit as follows: 1 905 244 2588, 1 905 491 7370,  1 800 673 2203, 905 831 0000,  7803286135,  So far it has been: open line , Unidentified female voice, Automated message, Catrina, Mischell  Carmen, Dave, and now Amanda. I have no doubt this is a scam operation . operating from multiple sites allegedly across Canada and the US. I think we should be charging them for misuse of telephone equipment as a weapon of extortion, and cyber bullying.

This is a fraudulent organization that buys expired debts from 20 - 30 years ago. They operate outside the law as I have told them many times they have the wrong number. The man who called sounded like a disgusting immigrant on a work permit and couldn't even give me the details of why or what they are calling for.  They said it was regarding a file on me but when I asked them why it doesn't match my first name he said I must have changed my name.  That was beyond a joke, they couldn't even tell me who or what or how much they are collecting but he said it was from the 1990's (its now 2015) .  They are in Canada but use a USA routing number to deflect liability for their illegal actions. At the end of it I told the man wrong number so guess what happens, he just put me back in the loop and exactly 14 days later they are calling again, with the same story and another new immigrant who says I have a file and pretends they didn't call 14 days ago.

Absolutely fraudulent, dishonest, operating outside of the law in attempt to collect money that is either made up or not legal.

I would love to involve authorities but the govt in Canada are well aware of these companies and can't / won't do a thing about it.  They simply prey on the dumb and the elderly who will pull out their credit card and pay for some debt that was never theirs simply because the last name is close enough.

I am getting phones calls from this number, and it seems that they think they know who they want. They say its this number and actually called me a LIAR, why I don't answer anymore, don't need their negative vibes. They are OBNOXIOUS and leave loud, RUDE messages.  TODAY the woman on the other end was so unprofessional I actually saved the message.  I may have to play it back by accident at the local block party. I am interested to see what the neighbor police officer has to say. Sounds like harassment to me! And she is name calling and threatening. She should make sure she has the right number before even attempting that, RIGHT! Not to mention unlawful business practices.
I have blocked the number from ringing,  but I still get voicemails. They don't know how to listen and see my name doesn't match who they want!
Today, actually made me chuckle, I didn't listen to it all but I did try to stomach the part of her YELLING!  That I better get off my [***] and call the office back, not to be a spineless loser.........
Yeh so!!!!!  they are NOT professional by ANY means!!!!

These people have made a hobby of bothering people. Don't give the courtesy of a reply except to tell them they owe you $5,000. per call and keep adding it up per call. Tell them they are deadbeats when they call you names. When they start screaming and hang up call back until they refuse to accept a call on  their phone. They usually cool it for about three months. Keep you telephone log and just pick up the charges to them and dish it to them again. We all need hobbies lets make a hobby of harassing harassers.

I generally vent all over them whenever I have time to waste. According to them this has been going on 11 years. They have screamed back for me not to call them, get a life, declare bankruptcy... but after all this declaration that they don't want to talk to me they still send letters and make phone calls. You are right about one thing they usually do hang up if you get nasty enough.

Contact Resource services has been racking up a bill and bothering me for years. Ok I charge these Deadbeats $5,000.00
per call they say they won't pay me. And keep on making calls at all hours of the day, automated messages, crummy "muzack" broadcast , phone numbers to call that don't work. Claims that "client" companies either deny outright or explain that no record would be on their books if the debt was deemed uncollectable and charged off against the companies income tax bill.

    My poor coworker
We get calls from these [***] at my work. They scream and yell and call you names. They thought I was her pretending to be someone else as well.

Really awful. Called 7 times in a row. Kept demanding that I put her on the phone. Nope. Not unless it is related to our business bud.

"Ill make it your [***] business"

Super unprofessional fraudulent and illegal company. I found it was best to take a break and tell them about my personal problems with my dog and love life considering they wanted to harass me about my coworker. They eventually hung up.

I received a phone call from this number and i called back pretending it was my missing sister.  This is fraudulent call and this is why
    - they didn't verify me over the phone and when I asked if she could give me some info she gave me an address from a golf course (mistake #1) I gave a fake address in return.  she proceeded to give me information without getting correct info from me.
    - she asked me if I could make a payment I told her yes she asked for my credit card number to make the payment (mistake number #2)
    -  the payment didn't work I gave her an incorrect number.  she asked me if I could make an online payment and gave me the instructions to do this I said ok and hung up
    - she called me back and I told her I went to BNS to pay all my debts.  they told me I couldn't do that.  I looked on to the website and it says I can but the company would have to send the form to BNS I wish to pay from.  She did not give me this option

This company uses various phone numbers.  There is NO point to call the RCMP as they are an agent for the Government of Canada.  Yes, there are indiviuduals who work in concert with RCMP and look up bank account information contrary to the Bank Act in Canada in order to screw people over by sending CRA audits.  DON'T SIGN ANY REGISTERED MAIL DOCUMENTS AS THE CRA HAS A BACK DOOR ON YOUR SIGNATURE TO ACCESS YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS....IT IS more than fraud...but the government is in on it. If you have an hubby, wife or business partner that is not happy...they may use these guys in order to collect.

First thing: ask them for their mailing address. Send them a letter via registered mail with proof of signature demanding communication in writing ONLY. Once they receive the letter, they are required BY LAW to stop calling you. From that moment on, it's either written correspondence with you or legal action. Ask them for proof of debt. Don't settle for BS "evidence" like credit card statements, alleged letters from alleged previous creditors, etc. They can't collect if they can't prove the own the debt. Keep a log and notes of every phone call you receive. If they continue calling, file a complaint with the consumer protection office in your province. Whatever you do, don't give in and don't be intimidated. They do that with people who give in and put up with it. Don't be one of those. If they are phone harassing you, don't filter the calls out. On the contrary, let them come through. Find an option on your phone to select a specific ringtone for their specific number and use a silent audio file, so the phone "rings" but it doesn't really sound. Their main tool of harassment is the phone. You kill that and they are virtually harmless. Contact your provider to place a trace on your number so you can have evidence of how many times they have called you. This will be evidence of harassment. They cannot threat to sue if they really don't intend to, and if they do, they have to send you written notice as well. If they sue without the notice, use that as a defence. Anything they do wrong, complain, complain, complain, make their lives miserable until they give up on you and go onto easier targets.

This number claims to be calling from “contact resource centre”, but it in fact a scam wanting you to pay back debts. Their website hasn’t been updated since 2014, and there is not surprisingly very little information on their website, -no company info, no about us, nothing. Very bare bones. Other than how to pay them. If you also look up the address they claim to be at on google maps - nothing is there but an intersection among some houses.
I’m aware of any and all debt I have and I have access to credit reports through equifax and otherwise.
If ANYONE ever threatens you to sue, take you to court, or otherwise from not paying - it’s a scam. Fullstop. By law you are required documents on paper to back up any of these claims, if they haven’t sent you anything to your home (don’t give them your address, if it’s real they have it already).

Don’t ever pay someone out of fear. Fear and urgency are how they get you to pay. If you think you owe money and aren’t sure - contact the bank or credit company using numbers you find from their legitimate website. Not from a number someone just gives you. Always always double check everything
