Caller calls numerous times from a number that comes up as all zeros either 4 or 7 zeros.  Then when they leave a message they tell you to call 888-771-9249.  they have your social security number and tell you that you are in fraud and that they are the legal department and that in a few hours you will be arrested unless you pay some amount of money.  They will not give you an exact company you owe money to and they refuse to send or fax you any information.  I had this same thing happen a few months ago and it was because an internet pay day loan company sells your information including your bank account number.  I had to close my last bank account and will never do this type of loan again because of this.  Do not give these people money.

I have been getting the same calls.  All 0's and then they leave the exact same messages - I'm going to go to jail etc.  They are a scam.  Don't call them back and don't give them any money.  They will not give you any information on who they're representing - they just want you to give them your account information so they can go in and take what's not theirs.  This has everything to do with payday loans on line.  Don't take these loans out - they will ruin your life.  Trust me.  It ruined mine.

I received a call from an Edward Brown with a heavy Pakistani accent.  I know his name isn't Edward Brown and he sounded as if he were reading from a script.  The call back number he left was 888-771-9249.  He said he was calling from the Legal Department and I would regret not calling him back.  Someone in the boiler room operation he was calling from was yelling at the top of his lungs to another caller.  This made Mr. Brown grow silent.  I have received calls from these morons before and they always call me at work.  I refuse to send these a**holes any money.  People please don't let these scam artists intimidate you into thinking you have to send them any money.  They need to provide proof you owe.  Meaning they need to send you documentation.  Do not give them your personal information.  Do not verify any information over the phone.  It's the new year and they are up to their SCAMS again.  Know your rights!

    Place of Business
someone using the name of Patrick has been calling looking for Lonetta Hollis....this is a place of business and after being asked numerous times not to call. He called about 20 times back to back.
He was told this is a form of harrassment and still insisted on calling.

State and federal law protects Texas consumers from abusive debt collectors. Many debt collectors abuse consumers by:

Calling them an unreasonable number of times
    Harassing them at work

Calling their neighbors and discussing the debt, or asking neighbors to contact the consumers
Using profanity, or using demeaning or degrading language
If you need assistance with an abusive debt collector, please complete the form below or call our office. We take cases throughout Texas, and we have represented hundreds of Texas consumers for abusive debt collection tactics over the last few years.

Any furture calls from your number will result differently.
    Thank you!

I am so glad I found this site.  These people called my cell number and my work number.  I called them back to see what was up.  They told me that I had done business with Paydaylone.Yes and United Cash.  They did give me a web site of paydayloanyes.com and I went to that site.  I had never done business with these people in my life.  The message on my cell phone was from Max Smith.  I talked with a Daniel from Pakistan as well.  They had ALL my information, i.e., driver's license number, ssn, address, bank routing and account number, etc.  They read me a list of things I was acused of and said I would need an attorney.  I also asked them to fax me the paper they were reading from and they said they couldn't, that I would receive papers from the court. They also said they could not give me the phone number of the loan company.  They need to be turned in and now I wonder, what if they give my information to someone else?  Someone will have all my information to destroy me.

These people don't give up. My name and information has been sold to several of these people. They will call your place of employment over and over again under different numbers and different AMERICAN names. They even said they were my brother and there was a family emergency. I have 4 brothers, and none speak with a foreign accent. They were rude to whoever answers the phones, like they were lieing to them. They threaten to take you to court for a different amount of money each time. Just tell them you want a letter with an address as to whom the money is owed and where. You will never see a letter. Change your account info, because these people will drain you of everything in your account. These calls may never stop because terrorists are trained to hate Americans from birth. And that's exactly what they are.

I also went through the same thing. They called me at work about 2 months ago. I also called the place where they said I got the loan from. They today called me again at work 3 times and at home saying the same thing. His name was Stephen McGuyre. I never took out a loan from this CashNet.com. They also threatened me. They called my sister's cell and my brother-in-law, so I went to my local police dept. and wrote a report about them.

I just remembered, they also gave me the names of my two sons that I put down for references on a loan years ago.  I hope they're not getting calls too.  I'd better call them and find out.  I didn't think about going to the police and making a report.  If I hear from them again I will do that.  I have two bank accounts, one with a credit union which I never give out that information and a regular checking account for a backup account that holds a whole $35.00, so let them try ... ha ha.

I can't stand them calling anymore and don't know what to do because they just keep calling my job and embarrassing me. I don't know if reporting them will do anything!!

I got a call from them on wednesday stating they were going to file a law suit thrusday morning at 10am. When they called my job i had just got my lunch i hadn't eating well in days because I'm suffering family loss and issues. and here they come harrasing me and i dont remember getting any money from unitedcash. they really had me going i was about to give them the money just to get rid of them. they had my social security card my address email . i was so shaken then i saw these post. now i filed a police report and is reporting this to the fbi. they are probably using the money from this scam for terrorist. they called my family my friend my bosses and everyone is calling me like what did you do. This is only pissing me off more. I have a strong feeling this is the result of our american companies outsourcing jobs. They probably sell our info they have no loyalty to america why do they have all my info even my friends phone numbers!

You can file a fraud report with your bank and a police report as well.

I got a call from these people last fall, and they've started up again today.  They try to use intimidation to force you to give them approval to deduct money from your bank account.

They claim to be from a legal department and want you or an attorney of record to call them back.  They go on to say Good luck if you don't call back, and god bless you.

They also come up as 0000 immediately after an unuvailable.

Like others, I've never taken a payday loan.
