Caller said I'm going to be served by county sheriff if I do not take care of this matter

Received a text, saying my payment was Due Today for the Cash Store (a payday loan company).   I am retired and receive no paycheck, so it is impossible for me to have a payday loan.  Text says Call now before further legal action is taken.

they are saying my account is delinquent  and action has been taken against me

I keep getting texts on my phone telling me it it ACR and i have a delinquent account with them and i am going to be served.

Called told me I owe a payday loan and threaten papers.  ACR for check n go

This is the text I received

Your past due Check Into Cash account 21601133 has been sent to ACR Inc. Call them immediately to avoid negative action against you 8887751369

Probably not legitimate. Never took out a payday loan for check into cash

Received a call from Andrew Sullivan with ACL Corporated about a final demand letter regarding a claim associated in my name and SSN. Phone number 888-775-1369

Received a call from Andrew Sullivan with ACL Corporation about a final demand letter regarding a claim associated in my name and SSN.  All calls have been ignored and I must call today.  Phone number 888-775-1369.  They didn't even have a correct name and the claim number is the same as another post on here.

I continue to receive unwanted text messages from this company stating, "FEDERAL LAW MANDATES THIS IS AN ATTEMPT TO COLLECT A DEBT BY A DEBT COLLECTOR. ANY INFO OBTAINED WILL BE USED FOR THAT PURPOSE. CALL ACR 8887751369 TODAY!" I'm on the Do Not Call Registry and asked them to Stop.

The DNC registry is only for telemarketers. Debt collectors aren't selling anything so it doesn't apply to them. And of course scammers simply ignore it.
