Caller said suspicious activity with my SS number has caused law enforcement to cancel all benefits and block my Social security number and I was to contact the social security administration. If they did not hear from me my SS number would be blocked.

When I would not give them my Social Security number they called told me I could bring up my issue with the police department and hung up on me

Same..recording said press 1 to connect to social security officer. I did not press anything it hung up

Arab speaking caller called and threatened to cancel my social security number and said law enforcement was looking for me. He wanted my SS # and my address. I called him a dirty [***] terrorist and hung up and blocke this number.

This number appeared on my cell phone. The individual did not leave a message. It is now on my block list. Suspicious scammer .

Said they were social security and would cancel my benefits

Voicemail with recorded message saying I needed to press 1 or my social security number number would be blocked permanently and my benefits would be cancelled. Sounded fishy to me so I pulled up the number on the internet and found this and other sites stating this is a scam.
