I recieved a call from the company last week. I thought it was a scam until I remembered having a cash advance debt that caused my checking account to over draft. They may not be the nicest people but they own my debt. I just payed back the loan I took out 2 years ago and I was able to handle a check systems claim with Rothstein and Klein llc. End of the day they were decent and sent my paid letters and up dated my credit reports.

got a phone call from this company i thought it was a scam they told me i have 2 hours to come up with money. As  far as that goes i dont owe Quik Kash its already been paid. They wasnt very nice.

A Mr. Butterfield called MY house and told MY mother that my brother owed money and even suggested that she pay his "debt" to keep him out of jail. He even had her Social Security number. When I called to see why he called my number and had this info it took two tries, but I spoke to a male that identified himself as Mr. Butterfield and as soon as I wanted details on how he got my mothers' personal info and details of thie supposed debt and when he denied telling my mother something I told him I monitor such calls and asked if he wanted me to play it back, he hung up on me. He had three different stories about why there was debt. Do NOT send these people money. Do as I'm going to do. Go through the proper legal channels and report it.

Funny how your story is exactly like JIm who filed under  a different number for this same company.
This is a Fraud LIne, they bully and use threats of jail and police ifficers. I called my local Sheriffs Office and there is nothing pending on me.

I just received a call today from this number, a man name Mr.Jonathan Turner says he is with a division of Harris County Legal Support he has my social security number etc.in reference to check fraud & theft of stolen goods. I need to be at home between 2-4 p.m. with a valid ID, or else I will be arrested @ my job if I dont't call this number 888-777-7564 to save my self the embarrasment to be  handcuffed at work, if he does not hear from the claim's office he will be arresting me at home or work. I will be contacting the proper legal authorities to stop this type of harassment it is one of these payday loan companies that is proabaly doing this type of harassment.

I got a call from a girl at this number 888-777-7564, this time saying she is from Rothstein and Klein llc my social security number etc.in reference to fraud blah, blah, blah, more [***] etc. If I do not call the office by the end of the day I'll be arrested. I have forwarded this info to my lawyers and talked with the local AGs office. They both told me these calls are from low life bill collectors trying to scare you into paying very old debts, This is illegal and I have a case for harassment but the problem is trying to track them down to serve them, They should not be calling me especially after I have already claimed bankruptcy. These people by law have to tell you who they are and not use false statement to scare you into calling.

Be smart and do what I do save the recorded messages for proof of their phoney call and use the phone numbers on your caller ID and the one they leave you. Contact your AGs office it's possible they are other complaints out there. A creditor can be fined for $1000.00 for each illegal act! So go after these guys or complain to the proper authorities don't let them scare you they have no legal stance once they misrepresent themselves.

i just got a call from this same number and they have all my personal info. and they calling me with saying they work with the sheirff dep.and i'll be served at work or home.after i hang up with them i google this number and this what i found and i read up on this.im calling bay news 9 on them.

I cant believe that these people get away with calling with these threats a collection company cannot threaten you

I receive a call from an elderly aunt that I gave a her name for a payday  loan reference one time about 6 or 7 years ago, I received a blessing in the same day I was to go and get the loan. The told me that I owe for a processing fee. Well all they had was my information, I never signed anything and never received any money. I still find it funny that they are still trying to collect 85 dollars from me.

OH, THEY TOLD MY AUNT THAT IT WAS VERY IMPORTANT THAT THEY SPEAK TO ME AND FOUND OUT ANY INFORMATION THEY KNEW ABOUT ME.
Sorry I forgot to add that to the first post. If they really wanted to find me they should check the phone-book, or even Facebook me. Instead of looking for my old aunt. They are still not getting because I do not owe them anything. 1-888-777-7564, I post this number on twitter and face book just so others can get the info. Scam artist.

CALLED A REFERENCE THAT I USED 6 YEARS AGO ON A PAYDAY LOAN FEE THAT I NEVER USED, THEY CALL IT PROCESSING FEES.

So they called my sister and told them try we're a company looking for me and that I had a lawsuit and was served with papers. Called them back and he clearly was a collections agency. Told him I was filing for bankruptcy and was going to report him for posing as a lawyer under the fair trade credit act. He screamed at me for writing bad checks and said he was going to file these supposed bad checks id apparently had written and good luck with that. One, no bad checks. Always paid cash for my credit cars. Two, he clearly had no comeback for posing as a lawyer because he knows he's a collection agency and it's not legal for him to do so. If they call you, it's a collection agency. And they're morons who need to be sued because what they're doing is illegal!

A message from an unknow blowing up my phone from Whitman & Sacks, stating that I have a file at my county court house. If you have to block your number then I know you are a scammer. Stop calling me. I have taken down one collections agency, I will take down another.  The idiot left a phone number of 888-777-7564.

Let a voicemail on my husbands phone stating that they were from Whitman&sacks and they have a claim against me somewhere I don't even live,I'm calling the laws on them and reporting them as well.these people are scamers and liars.

Your statements don't pass the common sense test and it's fairly obvious to anyone with a brain, that you are one of the fraudulent reps from Rothstein Klein, AKA Cherry Bone and associates, AKA txcollectors etc operating without license to do so in collusion with Robert Wells who heads up this joker companies. Get a grip, get a life, and get a real job instead of barking at old ladies who don't owe you money, or stealing bank info from unsuspecting people, or engaging in activity that FBI warns to be illegal. Soon, with all the complaints you are incurring, the authorities will find you and prosecute you. It's just going to one person to complain to the right place and the right time.
