- Pittsburgh Scam Gurus| 2 repliesWe Always Love Encountering & Confronting New Scammers!!! Actually They Aren't New, But They Use So Many Different Numbers And/Or Change Numbers So Frequently, It's Hard To Keep Track. This Crew Uses 888 Numbers Cuz 888 Numbers Make Them Seem Much More Legit. They Also Have A Fake Webpage Set Up, Since They Know Smart Consumers Are Going To Jump Online & Google Them. But When You Do Google Them, You Also Get Hits On About 2 Dozen Scam Complaints. We Also Think That They May Operate Under The Name "Delaware Asset Mgmt" As Well, But We Are Not Positive If They Are Linked. The Initial Incoming Calls Comes In From 1-888-926-0177. The Voice Mail States That "This Message Is From The Pre-Legal Division" Of Somewhere & It Instructs Me That There Is "Pending Litigation" Resulting From "Very Serious Allegations" Have Been Made Against Me. "Failure To Place A Statement Regarding This Claim" Will Result In A "Charges Being Filed" Against Me. We Immediately Called 888-782-3210 To Resolve This Matter & Reached "Mr. Reed" Of "DELAWARE SOLUTIONS". He Reiterated Everything In The Message, Stating That The Charges Were The Result of An Evergreen Payday Loan From 2012. Allegedly The Funds Were Deposited Into My Bank Account On A Certain Date. He Was Trying His Best To Convince Me Of The Seriousness Of This Case & Asked If I Wished To Resolve It Voluntarily, Since "Numerous Attempts" Had Been Made To Contact Me. When I Called BS & Told Him I Was Looking At My Online Bank Statements From That Date, & I Had Never Received Anything About This, He Immediately Became Defensive. The More Questions I Asked, The More Upset He Became, Cuz Despite Them Using All Of Their Usual Scare Tactics, I Wasn't Falling For It. We Then Told Him To Just Go Ahead & File Those Charges In My County, & We Will See Them In Court......Still Waiting On Those Charges To Arrive. Please DO NOT Fall For These Scams. If You Have Been A Student Of These Scams For Any Amount Of Time, You Should Be Able TO Sniff Them Out Pretty Easily & Quickly. And Just SO You Know, DO NOT CALL Lists & BLOCK Lists Don't Work With These Scammers, Cuz They Are SCAMMERS! They Don't Give A F*ck About FCC/FTC Rules & Regulations -- They Are Criminals!!!

- Lilbitz replies to Pittsburgh Scam Gurus| 1 replyThank you because that's exactly the information I got from them. When asked for "proof" he said pay first and then I'll send you the proof. He's calling me back and I will proceed the same way about serve me w/the papers and I'll deal w/it at Court because I myself work in the law field and know "scammers" yet I too know that although I have used Payday Loans in the past, that all accounts have been either paid or being paid/resolved amicably and why wait till damn near 3-4 yrs. later to serve me with papers. So needless to say, I haven't received the call back since advising I work in the legal field. Again, I will just have them send/serve me papers just as you stated them to do and take it from there. Thank you as your information was EXTREMELY helpful!
- PittsburghScamGurus replies to LilbitzNo problem, glad to be of assistance. The ideal situation for all these scare-scammers is to get you on the phone, frighten you, & then get that payment, all in one call. Once you start asking questions or ask for info, that's when it all falls apart for them. We like telling them to just go ahead & have those "charges" filed & delivered, then we will see them in court. We wait about a week & call back asking where those legal documents are, since this was such a time-sensitive & urgent matter. At this point, they will usually hang up on you, put you on hold, or say that the file is now "out of their office" & you just have to wait to hear from the "courier/locator"....It's all such a big pile of bullsh*t.
- PittsburghScamGurusBasically what these jerks do is beg, borrow, or steal old loan/debt documents from payday lenders, online loan services, & such. They are hoping that by calling you out of the blue & hitting you with all sorts of legal jargon & scary financial lingo, you will just go ahead & resolve the matter ASAP. Just think: Even if they get 3 suckers to take the bait out of every 10 people they call, that's still a .300 batting average, & still pretty damn good!!!

- christineThese people have called 3 a day for last few days. I called all numbers given but no one answers. I called another number but no one answered and I was told to leave a message in the general mailbox. I click 0 to do that and then they tell me their number has changed to 8887823210 but no one answers that either. I got scared with their message so I called but then I found these posts
