Have gotten multiple calls from this number (I've never answered). They do not leave a message. I'm assuming it's a charity or political call (?!)

Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy...courtesy call regarding one of my meds.

It is Walgreen's Specialty Pharmacy Customer Care Center.  Their job is to try to mail your meds to you, instead of you picking them up, to increase their bottom line.  

Got a message from this number on Saturday morning. Voice faded in and out so I have no idea who called. Others above say it's Walgreen's Specialty Pharmacy. Why they'd call me is a mystery since I don't get prescriptions there.

Got a message from a Spanish sounding lady saying she waS a an affiliate of Walgreens ask for name,birthday,and address to discuss one of my meds. I refused her the info and I told her I would call my pharmacist. Called him and he said Walgreens doesn't make these kind of calls. I asked her which meds it waS and she said she had to verify it waS me before she could tell me due to privacy act. I refused and she gave me this number again to call back. Never gave me the name of her company or her name.

This is Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy.  I have an injectible med that they discuss with me.  They also handle refills... not just mail order but to pick up in the local store.  They have to ask detailed info for HIPAA regulations so they know they are talking to the patient.  I can confirm it's legit as I just picked up the medicine I refilled with them on the phone.

UPDATE - They keep calling even though I told them I had top move my medication to another pharmacy,

Walgreen's Specialty Pharmacy calls me because my insurance company requires it since I'm using an injectable med.

Would they lower the cost of my meds? Only help with cost of my meds is my W card.

Same thing with Walgreens. Sounded like an Indian woman could barely understand her. Got the call after I got my medication a week and half after I just got it. Sounds suspicious to me when she says she's trying to fill it and I already got with no refills.

A woman named Sonya with an accent keeps calling me as well. This began a few months ago, even though I've ordered this med from my local Walgreens for years. My pharmacist has no record of Walgreens' specialty pharmacy making these calls to me, only the calls corporate makes when your order is ready. I'm skeptical because I suspect the caller would want personal and medical info. If it is Walgreens, I don't understand why they think customers would want to volunteer that info to a stranger -- especially because I did not initiate contact.
