A fake-friendly voice with a bland first name says they're calling from Capital-One, to our number at home on a weekday.  The fake-friendly voice doesn't say why why it's calling and leaving messages. I'll call back to initiate moving our money to a real, local, bank.

Same thing.  We got a call from Brad.  Said to call back and gave 7 digit extension.  When you call back its just a recording.  This is definitely a scam.  Wish Capital One would investigate.

I got the same call from Brad. When I called he was trying to get me to open a checking account with Capital One bank. I currently have a credit card with and this is just a sales call.

I got a call from Brad as well asking me to call 888 784 9198 with extension 2812249.  I called back within 5 minutes of the call and got a voicemail with the same male voice.  I didn't leave a message.

This is Capital One small business services. My call was from David. He finished setting up my account started via an online application. Legitimate call.

Went to Capital One to ask about Equifax"s Credit Watch bank had offered due to fraud situation of a former employee.  She dialed the number from my letter from Cap One and I spoke with an agent.  He actually GAVE me the exact telephone number to call him back for update into the matter.  There was a seven digit ext. no. included.  Surely hope it was LEGIT since Cap One manager placed the call.
