- JDRAutomated call said it was from Sprint and that our service was being suspended, press 2 for Representative. We did and “Justin” said that someone was trying to port our numbers to another carrier. He wanted account information (I told my husband don’t give any information out) He did give his email address (against my warning) and I told him to get a call reference number and a phone number so we could call back. Justin said he didn’t have a call back number. My husband then received an email asking for his drivers license number, PIN, and SSN to verify him. The phone number they called from is 888-788-0788. We confirmed with Sprint that is their fraud department, but scammers have phished the phone number. If you do get a call like this, ask for a call reference number and hang up then call *2 (Sprint) and explain the call you received. FRAUD! Scammers! Do not give any information! Call SPRINT back!
