Started off firing off questions like, is this mr so and so? Do you receive mail at this address?
I personally don't answer any questions from people I dont know.
When I asked what agency it was and who they represent caller statef I was being difficult and hung up.

Caller claimed to be from Virtuoso Business Group.  
She asked for "first name only", I replied by asking who was calling and the name of the business.  She replied and asked if "first name only" was there.  I then asked the reason for her call, to which she replied, "it is a personal business matter, you sure are asking a lot of questions without telling me if "first name only" is there.  I then asked for a number which she can be reached.  She said, "goodbye."  and hung up.

This number has been calling every day around the same time--they never leave a message.  I don't answer it, nor have I tried to call back.

It's Virtuoso Sourcing Group, a collection agency. They collect for ADT Security and probably many other companies.

They call me everyday between 10am and 1pm. They never leave a message. i called back and was asked if this is mr.... when i asked why they don't leave a message when they call, the lady replied with is this mr so and so. I told them if they call and don't leave a message mr so and so will never call them back.

I now get messages that are just back ground noise. When i have answered the phone they hang up as soon as i say hello. I've answered once without saying anything and could hear someone breathing and people talking in the back ground, but as soon as i said hello the person hangs up.

I looked it up(http://consumerist.com/2007/06/07/is-it-legal ... eave-a-message/) and seen that calling me everyday could be seen as violating 806, 15 U.S.C. when they call today im going to pick up and see if anyone is there and see if they know this. I have also documented every call and the time i called back.

It is a collection agency for ADT security.  So, as long as they are not verbally abusive or threatening and they are not calling at unreasonable hours, then they are not violating any laws.  

I do not work for this group, I have just done a lot of research about what bill collectors/agencies can & cannot do.  Calling and not leaving a message when you don't pick up is annoying, but not abusive.

Can confirm, Virtuoso on behalf of ADT.  I actually called THEM yesterday or the day before and settled a debt (they mailed all our bills to the wrong address), but I'm not sure why they called back.  There was no answer and after a few seconds the call ended.  Very weird.

This number has been calling repeatedly lately and actually called me THREE times yesterday. Once at 8:09 am, then at 2:43 pm, and the last time was at 8:20 pm. They have called in the past after 10 pm. A little overkill? They never leave a message and if I happen to pick up, no one responds. It has become quite annoying.

I just got a call from them, and after looking up the posts on here, I know they are calling for ADT.  I bet the reason they make calls, without saying anything, so many times, is that they CHARGE ADT for doing their job.  When in actuality, they aren't really doing anything to earn their money !!!  
I just blocked that number in my cell phone.

Same has been happening here they call a couple times a day around the same times and leave no messages I to do not answer the phone. If it's important they'll leave a message and I'll determine then if I want to call them back or not.

They called 8:something AM. No message if they are ADT, they need to leave a message...

These peole call and call. ask for somebody i dont know.  crazy.

Some have posted that they collect for ADT. I have never had an ADT account. They call several times a day while I am at work. They never leave a message. The telephone number which shows on caller id is not a working number.  Internet is full of information about lawsuits and scam activities by these people. I'm never gonna answer their call now that I know about them.

After lots of calls from this number and attempts to return the calls (the number shown on caller id is not a working number) I was finally able to answer the robo call from this number. They asked for David. I said there is no one here by that name. They asked when I expected David to be in...I said no one named David lives here. They asked if I knew where David lives...I told them they were asking crazy questions. They hung up.

I appreciate the comments above. Confused because I have never had an ADT account.  They do not ask for me by name, just start in with babble about how my ADT account is past due. Since I've never had one, no worries on my end.  Checked my credit report and there are no issues there, either. Must be some kind of scam. Never gonna answer a call from these people again!  : )

These callers continue to call our number even though the person they ask for does not live here and we do not know them. They are quite rude and harassing.  They act as if the person they ask for is hiding in my attic!
They have called for months, everyday.  I guess it is because I won't give them my name and social security number.
The good news is we have just completed setting up our call blocker. Guess who the first blocked call was from...yep, Virtuoso Sourcing! Looking forward to some peace and quiet!
