Number that called was a local area number (from quite a rural area).  Will not be calling back - as there is no reason to confirm my address.  These idiots never visited any address to begin with!  More 'scare' tactics to get you to call and be scammed.

If you call that number they ID themselves as HR development.  Guy denied they were debt collectors and would not give me any further information.   Clearly debt scamming of some sort.  Ignore and block any calls from this number of this "John Lawson".

I get calls from 888-797-4045 once or twice a week. it comes from 408-618-6714. so it has to be a scam. there is no mention of a debt or anything. thanks. scam city!

Got the same phone call and suspected it was not legit!

As noted by others...this John Lawson initially called me from a blocked number stating that he needed to serve me with papers at my home or work and if unable it would be seen as non-compliance and the court hearing would happen without me. He left a toll free call back number (different than the one being reported here). He called back a second day from 412-313-0856 and left a message that he tried to visit my home and work (not true) and to call him back at 888-797-4045 to confirm my legal address. Obviously I have no plans to return his calls. Pretty sure this is in illegal tactic.

Have had the same call from a local number with the same message from John Lawson stating that he needed to confirm my legal address as they have tried several different addresses and they were unsuccessful.  If they were a true "anyone" they would know how to find a legal address.  He also didn't address me by name.  Not calling back and giving my legal address.

I received a call from 423-405-1544, but "John Lawson" said he could be reached at 888-797-4045 and it was also to confirm a legal mailing address.  NOT calling back.

Debt scamming operation.  No legitimate process server calls you up in advance and tells you he or she is coming by.  Simply block and ignore the calls.

Who does this robot calling sob think they sending out phone numbers from your state and area code which they are not from thinking that your answer your phone well let me tell you they can [***] their self I've been watching these scam phone numbers for a while so I Google them when I get them if they're not legit I put a little marker on my phone to let me know who they are and this is the marker on my phone and when I get them and when they call me I say thanks for calling big Don's porn home of the 14in how can I help you and you know what I get click thank you
