Received letter from Winterrfield Funding out of Ft Worth Tx stating I now qualified to permanently eliminate all future Timeshare maintenance fees and that they’d been trying to contact me.  This letter gave a reference #18888003047 and for me to call them at 888-797-5758.  Scammers, I don’t own a timeshare and looked them up online here.

Rec'd two letters from RegCom Funding about how I may eliminate all future Timeshare Maintenance Fees. I don't own any timeshares. They gave me a reference number for my non-existent acct and the 888'797-5758 number to call. "You must respond no later than March 17."  It was signed RegCom Funding. No name, no address, nothing else. It's a scam. Ignore the letters and don't  call the number.

I received a letter like everyone else on this site about timeshare maintenance fees. It is a total scam. It is fun to mess with these types, give them your county sheriff's name & number in place of yours tell them u have to go get your letter with the reference number tell them to call you back in like 10 minutes. ps dial star 67 first so they don't get your real phone number.

Yeah I have been getting the same letters for my sister and she doesn't even live here so I called them and didn't say anything about it being in her name and they acted like they sent me the letter so I told them they were a scam and that I was going to report them to the BBB and the attorney general so they hung up on me. Definitely a scam.

I just received a letter from RegCom Funding regarding a timeshare account. I searched for their business online, but all I see are scam posting related to the phone number and company name.

Why would you think that a letter that started with "Dear (my last name)" was from another country?
