888-797-7037

I have been getting one call a day from 916-478-6790, it comes up saying the call is coming from Elk Grove, CA.
It is always the same woman leaving a message saying she is calling for a debt collector and to call back 888-797-7037 and even provides a reference number.
I don't have any debt, I just thought it was the wrong number.

A woman left message that she was a debt collector from the Oxford Mall. Asked for a return call immediately to 888-797-7037. Caller ID stated the call was from Elk Grove CA. It is an unwarranted call. I find this call was an intrusion on my privacy. I owe no debt to the Oxford Mall in California. I live in Maryland for heaven sakes.

I had exactly the same experience with a call from this number (and I also live in Maryland).  I have no unpaid bills at all.  I assume this is some kind of scam.  I thought the message said Oxford Law, so I looked up Oxford Law Collection Agency on the web and it appears there are other phone numbers associated with this scam, and that lots of people have had a similar experience.  Same thing happened to me a few years back, although with a different "company". Eventually they just stopped calling.

Repeated calls from 888-797-7037 weekly. Whoever this is only lets the phone ring once. Do not trust whoever they are!
