:Caller ID showed "Toll Free Number"  Call picked up by my answering machine.  A recorded mail voice purporting to be Amazon Customer Service saying "Your Account is  being compromised as there is an order for I-phone....."   At which point I cut off the call.  Checked Amazon and there is no order pending.  Obviously a scam to get sensitive information.

I just had exactly the same call. No unusual activity on credit card, I think this was a scam too.

Same thing regarding Amazon account being compromised... total scam

call said it was from Amazon fraud and there was a $439 charge.  The message was partially garbled - probably on purpose.

Definitely a robo-call claiming to be Amazon (wasn’t pronounced correctly) that there was an order for an IPhone. I checked my Amazon account and there was not an IPhone ordered...Scam call.

Its an automated call ... Reporting a Friday transaction on my credit card linked to Amazon. I checked my account and no order has been placed and no money deducted from my card.

Scam....  I called Amazon through a different number and they said they had no transaction and no record of anything being fraudulent.

call id showed unknown  and voice mail stated from Amazon  and "an account has been charged replace hold on it ... and please call"    . Total Scam -  dont fall for this

Suspected scammer

My wife got this call , she picked up the phone and a very fast voice said da,da,da,....etc. I checked our Amazon account by dialing another number. No problem. No charges.
