I received 2 missed calls from the number above.  I have rejected and block the phone number and somehow they was able to go to my voice mail.
The voice mail said, " In order to close down to get refund, please call 888-803-0940."

Just received a call from them. Didn't answer and was sent to voicemail. I have the message saying:
"A company has been ordered to close down. Please call our toll free number 888-803-0940 to get your refund. Repeat again 888-803-0940."

Needless to say, they didn't name the "company" so I will not be calling them back. Clearly a scam. Thx!

I just received the same call from 888-803-0940.  I was sure it was a scam. Thanks everyone.

Caller has an Indian (India) accent. He claims to work in the Microsoft refund department and needs to process a refund for their services. He wants you to be on a computer and open Microsoft Edge or IE, then type in a given web address that ends with .IL. He says a box will then pop up. Then he asks what it says. I told him it said "The guy calling you is a scammer." He said good day and hung up.

They call here, and, the other day,I kept this foreigner on the line for over 20 mins. , while I supposedly was looking for credit card, but was really feeding the animals,he was still on the phone, told him I would be right back. Ten minutes later, after making coffee, come back to the phone, he was still waiting to hack into my computer and receive my credit card numbers, and starting to get mad, so , I told him to go give his camel some water. Then hung up on him.  Called him back, twice and he blocked my number.

I received the same call from 3 separate phone numbers:  888-845-1380; 888-803-0940; 888-864-3085.  Definitely a scam.  They wanted to send me a form so they can send me a refund of $300 after I gave them all of my personal info.  I did not pay anyone $300 for any service.  I asked the guy calling what his company's name was.  He said Microsoft.  I hope people don't fall for this scam.  So sad these types of things happen.  BEWARE!
