This was from a group of cyber thieves pretending to be the Norton Antivirus/LifeLock Corporation. My wife had recieved an email from Norton Billing stating that she had purchased a software package for $499.99, and that they would be charging her bank account in 2 hours. So I called the number. They passed me to a Senior biller who offered to refund the money and then asked to download some software to directly refund the money. Since I assummed he was from Norton, I trusted him.

Then during the process, an error occurred and $4999.99 was supposedly transferred into her account. So now that was an over-refund so she now owed Norton ~$4500.

So the Senior biller told me he would get in trouble so I needed to go to CVS and purchase 9 Apple Gift Cards, load them with $500 each and send him the numbers. Then he would take that money and put it back into Norton's bank.

On the way to CVS, we stopped at my wife's local bank, to check if the over refund was there. It was NOT. The Senior biller had created a false page showing a bogus refund. If I had purchased the 9 Apple Gift Cards he would have successfully stolen $4500 from us. The bank closed my wife's account and advised us to file a police report of this crime.
