Called my landline, but did not leave a message.

They called my office line, but there was no one on the other end. I'm guessing that it's some kind of spam/scam, but the recording got messed up. STOP CALLING ME!

called me, I didn't say anything but someone was talking in the background on my end and it sounded like they were recording my response. They never said anything and hung up after 1 minute.

Rang multiple times and hangs up.  Caller ID same as phone number.  SCAMMERS

This guy by the name of Andrew with a deep voice tries to sound professional and soooo official calls from different area codes trying to scam you that he is with the Firefighters and all the Local and State police departments and works in Washing DC to help with funds to help our men and women in uniform. He is a total scammer and I told him that because he has called me from over a dozen area codes and uses the same phony intro on every call. You can block his number, but he'll call from another dozen are codes. There isn't a single Police department that ever calls for donations.

Got a call from 8888-175-160  on our home phone at 7:37 pm yesterday (thursday)..CID-"TOLL FREE CALL".  The caller did not leave a message.

I just got a call from this number. His name was Andrew. Claiming to be collecting for family members of fallen officers. I wouldn't give a credit card so they said they would send an envelope for me to send my donation. Should I not send it. Is this a scam?

Andrew called me on this number and said he Is attempting to collect envelope full of cash for the “police” support department. I stated to him that the police constantly harassing kill my friends and family and he told me “good as they should” when I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor and then realize Andrew picked up again it had to have been a scam chain

it’s a scam obviously.. why would u donate to officers that aren’t even alive? they barely protect our country altogether lol

Do not send or give them ANYTHING.  If you do engage with them on the phone, avoid saying the word, "YES"
