National Water and Power

got an auto message telling me that my account was past due. The only problem is I don't know who the hell they are! Then they wanted me to enter my 9 digit account number for an account I don't know the # of?

i got a call 3/17/09 from this # . saying its NWP. when I call back it says 'if you recieved  a call from this #, you may be past due, plese enter the account # after the dash.

I don't do any business with NWP Services Corporation, but they called me saying I had to "settle my account' on their website. Sounded like some kind of scam to get me to pay a bill I don't owe. I called them back and there is no way to remove yourself from their system. Reporting them to the FTC.

NWP is a water services management company that provides water service for apartments complexes and condos. I assume they purchase water from municipalities and then bill it to the consumer. I live within my city limits but have to pay my water through NWP.

This number is from Nation Water and Power. If you have ever lived in a Apartment this is from the company that bills your for water and trash.
