This number is associated with a My Commerce site out of Michigan ,,   claims to be able to clean computers for $199 ,,

I received a call from a person named Alex who claimed to work for Microsoft.  He stated I had major problems and he needed me to long on so he could tell m.e over the phone the changes I needed to make.  This is a telemarketing company because I checked out the number 888-817-8694 on google.  It is not Microsoft.

Several people, the lastest one being Richard, claiming to be Microsoft employees keep calling me stating that my computer keeps sending them alerts that it has been compromised and they are going to help me with it.  They insist that I get on my computer and follow their prompts. Whe asked if there is a number to call them back at (since they always call from a blocked/private number) he gave me the (888)817-8694.  Richard stated that when I call it would be a Microsoft division and to just ask for him.  I blocked my number and called it back 30 minutes later and Richard just happened to be the one answering the phone.  He answered with hello this is Richard with corporate assistance. I then hung up without speaking to him.  About 20 minutes later he called me again stating that I called but they had technical difficulties so that's why he was calling again.  At this point I again requested that they stop calling me and to take my number off their call list.  He again insisted that he helps me with my computer.  I again refused and told him that I was going to report him for calling my house weekly for the last year.  He again says that he is calling to  help with my computer.  Once he got the point that I wasn't going to give in he told me "Your going to hell" and hung up. supposedly
